  Peaceful &traditional in stunning location

  Our experience of this hotel was lovely. It's a traditional, peaceful hotel set in a stunning location on the hillside about barbati. The rooms were small but adequate for us with an updated bathroom. Great view from the balcony over barbati. Some road noise as the hotel is next to the road but didnt disturb us too much.Cleaned daily to a good standard. We stayed half board and the food choice was good even for the fussy members of our party. Different choice each evening with plenty of salad and alternative milk offered at breakfast along with yoghurt, bacon and eggs, cereal, toast, fruit and bread. We arrived 10pm and the hotel kept some food for us and also we had an early flight so we were allowed to have an early breakfast, not all the choice but enough to keep us going. Location was amazing looking out towards Albania, yes there is a steep hill to climb back up from the decking but it's so worth it! We spent our evenings there just watching the waves and the fish, so relaxing. Pool area is also lovely looking out over the sea with plenty of sunbeds and Greek music playing in the background.I would recommend using the free shuttle bus into barbat, the road is too fast and narrow to walk along and again a steep walk up. Nice pebbly beach at barbati but no shops only a couple of supermarkets and some restaurants. We used the local bus which you catch at the bottom of the drive to go to corfu town. €2.40 each way.Staff were polite and friendly, we had no issues with anyone. They do have some resident cats who kept us entertained with their antics. Overall a good budget hotel, not 5 star but we had an amazing holiday and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

  Lovely Greek family run hotel with amazing views.

  Lovely traditional Greek hotel. I’m writing this review while we are still here. Amazing views and relaxing vibe. On arrival I was blown away with the views! The hotel is a traditional Greek family run hotel. Small room with a balcony with amazing views. Yes some people have said the rooms could be updated. I can’t complain always well cleaned The bathroom has been updated. Anyway you don’t come on holiday to say in your room! We have came on half board basis. Food is lovely! Plenty to choose from. I love the spinach pie in the mornings. I had moussaka and lamb chops for dinner. Lovely cakes too. I am in fear I will not get in my uniform when I get back to the UK 🤣Pool area is relaxing with Greek music playing. No issues getting a sun bed. There is a decking area down by the sea with sun beds and bar. Amazing views. Steps into to the sea. Brought a snorkel set to see the fish. There is a free mini bus that runs at set times during the day to take you to the beach. The main road is far too dangerous to walk on. There are local green busses which are easy to use. We caught one to Corfu town and Ipsos for the day. Loved having a morning coffee on the balcony watching the sun rise over the mountains and the glittering sea ❤️

  Not an all-inclusive hotel.So the is an average hotel and to be fair poor value for the money paid. There are some positive and negative aspects.Positives.Great pool area that overlooks the ionian sea and corfu town in the distance.There are plenty of sun beds for the number of guests.Background music which is great and not loud which makes a peaceful place to chill.Staff are excellent other than florin behind the bar, who is just arrogant and rude at times. I can only imagine he is forced to work their as front of house customer service is not for him.Ladies on reception and working the bar again amazing.Food is fair, plenty off it but not a huge variety. If you like greek food as i do then you'll be happy.Location is a good 15-minute walk into barbati on a very windy main road. It's definitely not advisable walking at night or with small children.Free shuttle bus to beach through day. On check out at 10am,there is room you can use to shower and get changed in if you have a late departure thats free to use.NegativesRooms dated, small but adequate.Bar products, including soft drinks, are terrible.Coke tastes like  cheap panda cola.All inclusive where everything included bottle water is extra.So, arrive,  do you do pool towels? Yes, but extra , " That's a first," then didn't have any.Safe extra,  ok. I have seen before but unusual for all-inclusive.Air-conditioning €6 per dayAnd you have to pay tourist tax on arrival at the hotel.Worst of all, asked for water to take to room and charged us €2?This is very wrong.Evening meal times too short, 6-8pm and a queue a mile long at 6pm.Eating outside, forget it. WASP infested everywhere, including sitting around the pool in the day.it was impossible to have a soft drink. I just sat there.My partner and many other people got stung by the wasps throughout our stay.It is a shame because it has the ability with very little effort to change from average to very good.We wouldn't personally stay again for the price we paid.

  Just amazing!

  Just returned from a short break at the Hotel Nautilus. What can I say except what a wonderful place. If you love Greece then this place won't disappoint. Located in a beautiful setting with amazing sea views. The hotel is very traditional and staff are always there to help in a very polite manner. Pool area has a relaxed atmosphere and great to hear Greek music rather than a thumping noise 🤣 There is a free shuttle bus that runs throughout the day and will take you to the nearby beach in Barbati. Bus stop for local buses is right outside the hotel which will take you to Corfu Town. You can also stop off in various resorts on route. Ipsos is 5 mins away where you will find a bit more life and taxis will set you back around 10euro.We stayed on a half board basis however you can upgrade to AI if you should wish to. Rooms are a little dated but clean. All in all a fantastic little hotel run by amazing people. We managed to keep our room for a late checkout due to having a late flight, wanted to make the most of our day as it was my daughters 18th birthday. This comes at an extra cost of course but is worth it and value for money. Also, please note that this hotel is quite isolated which is exactly what we wanted. We did over hear some guests complaining about this but all the information is available to everyone prior to booking! Just do your homework before travelling, the Internet is a wonderful thing sometimes! Thank you Hotel Nautilus for a great stay. We will definitely return. 🇬🇷

  Lovely hotel Great views Comfortable stayBe mindful if you have mobility issues you may not be able to make use of / enjoy the decking by the seaFood was basic but tasty not much choice for fussy eaters Only 1 night of entertainment Not much to see / do in walking distance Bus to Ipsos was good 😊
