  Beautiful hotel

  From start to the end of our stay, we were made to feel at home and welcome. All staff especially Alexandra on reception were very friendly and very helpful. We wanted to upgrade our room to harbour view and we was lucky there was one left available. We was shown the room first and we accepted. What a beautiful stunning view of the harbour we had from our balcony. The hotel throughout was very clean. We used the spa and we enjoyed this for some well needed relaxation. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was very nice. Highly recommend. The bar is nice also. Looking out to the harbour whilst sipping your favourite drink. We had breakfast every morning. This was also nice. So massive thankyou for making our stay one of the best. We will return in the near future.

  Disgraceful!!!!

  Never been so disappointed!!!Bathroom in room was disgusting, very old and dirty. Bath was brown & stained. I would not even put my feet into the bath. Floor grubby and around sink was stained. Room was also very cold, had to use a Dyson heater that was left on the dressing table. Booked a table for dinner, restaurant also very cold. My husbands dinner came up after a long wait, he had nearly finished and mine had not arrived. When we questioned this we was told the order had not been put through and was offered an alternative, it was now gone 9pm so we refused this.We had a double room, with a harbour view and balcony. We was not advised that directly outside was a chain link ferry that ran from 7am to 11pm and was very very noisy.We complained that evening to reception, where the young girl was very apologetic but explained she was on her own and was a university student on work experience.The whole experience of this hotel has been diabolical, unexceptional & would definitely not recommend, very very expensive for quality of a 4 star.Will not be staying for the duration of our trip.

  I love it here and stop regularly!The hotel was empty as due to close. I asked for an upgrade in room and was told No which I thought was miserable

  Fantastic two nights at the Haven hotel sandbanks, from the minute we arrived the staff were warm and friendly and nothing was to much trouble, the breakfast is of a very high quality and unlimited, and in the evening the point restaurant is 5 star the hardest part is deciding what to order. The spar is fab with a well heated pool and direct access to the fabulous sandbanks beach, car parking is plentiful and included in the price as well as free WiFi,I have been staying at FJB hotels for around 50 years now and have to say that in my opinion the Haven hotel is tops. Just gutted that it is closing for the winter,

  Excellent Locoation Super Staff and Service

  Excellent Location, Super Staff, Room with sea view ideal and everything worked in the room. Nicely soundproof and all aspects of the room were good just one small issue was the patio door onto the balcony was difficult to unlock as the locking pins were corroded.
