  Clean, comfortable & friendly place with amazing views, swimming on the beach and a local taverna nearby.

  Lovely small apartments set in an idyllic bay with their own stretch of beach. Apartments are perfectly clean with good amenities - coffee making, fridge, small cooker etc, and a very nice bathroom.Check-in is easy, Apostolos and his mother are very welcoming and keen to help.The view across the bay from the balcony is incredible. Sat outside watching the sunrise each morning.It is quiet with a garden of olive trees and a good taverna just 50 yards down the beach.There are bigger hotels further along the beach but if you want a quiet, idyllic time in Greece, swimming in the sea, eating excellent local food and relaxing, this is the place!

  A lovely spot!

  Although the beach is small it is always possible to find room. We go there for the swimming and the snorkelling. We take bread and so many fish come around us. On the far side of the taverna where bread is often thrown it is rather like being in an aquarium. If you like snorkelling this is the best place to be . Swimming right round to the harbour is good exercise!

  We were staying in an Air B&B very close to Nissaki bay, and the local beach was only a few minutes’ walk away. Early in the morning this little pebble beach is empty, but fills up quickly as the sun goes up. Being on the East side of Corfu the water is warmer making it fun place to snorkel in the clean clear waters. Even though the beach is small it is surrounded by lots of really good Tavernas, for lunch or afternoon sundowners with fantastic views of Albania and Corfu town. There is limited parking just below Almyara's tavern, but again fills up really fast. You will need foot wear for walking over the beach or when snorkeling. There is also a small harbour there where you can rent a boat from Fontas boat rentals, they are nice people and very accommodating. If you want more privacy just take a walk along the coast a little way and you will find a more quiet area, not popular with families due to the lack of amenities.TIP: If you are coming by the green bus just walk down the hill towards the Nissaki beach hotel the path to the beach is on the right-hand side, a little rough so wear good walking shoes.

  Small quaint idyllic bay

  We visited Nissaki bay off the cuff one morning. It’s a small lane down to the bay where parking is limited and tight. However, it’s the perfect chill out area. Not to big but not too busy either.This was paradise for me. A couple of tavernas and bars and a shop. You can hire boats from two companies down there as well. Lovely place.

  Fantastic accommodation - very clean and right on top of a beautiful beach, great restaurants nearby (some by water taxi). Owners were amazing, very helpful, arranged supermarket trips and taxis as walks to town are difficult in heat. Water sports on the beach. Will be back for sure.
