  Best Vacation Stay

  Absolutely Gorgeous, this was the best vacation we had. We had booked a suite but thanks to Vasillas as he upgraded us to a Premium Villa. The stay was perfect. I can't thank enough for the great service. Thanks to Viktoria for taking care of our Villa and us. The view was so beautiful from the villas. Anyone that's considering Corfu should definitely stay at this property. Especially to all my Indian people as well, if you go to Corfu definitely book this property. Thank you once again for the best memories of our life. 🙏🏼🙂

  Overstated and personal feeling of misleading promo despite some positive parts of the property.

  I was impressed of the positive reviews of the location, therefore after additional checks I have decided to book (23rd May 2025) a Suite for my family with payment required till 20th July 2025 for which I did guarantee with my card and I did take care that at that date I had enough cash in my account usually used for reservation in EUR.Before detailing, I need to mention that I could not let my review on Booking.com as my reservation was canceled at the request of the property administrator, even if I can provide evidence that I did stay there. And this review is based on my personal experience.1st trigger/red flag, on the specified date and neither after, before I did arrive at location the amount was not claimed by the property.2nd red flag - misleading on the booked room. I was sure my booking was for a room with a pool and hot tub. When we arrived at the location we were unpleasantly surprised to see the room booked with no pool. It was the most important prerequisite of the booking and the misleading advertising came from what they call "property facilities" which I could consult on my booking and which stated "heated pool". Mr Vassilis mentioned that this and photos are generic info and property facilities does not mean that the room has those facilities and us, as guests, we can use those facilities.At the end, to make it short, we noticed that some rooms had a pool and some not. We were, as you can imagine, unlucky.The story does not stop here. During the conversation with our host, Mr Vassilis, he told me that, in fact, we were not the only ones in that situation and from time to time same similar issue repeat and as he said “he is not sure that this is happening because the guests do in purpose reservation with bad intention.”I forgot to mention, I did travel by car with my family more than 1200 km with a stop in Thessaloniki.As told before, the story did not end here, because after some time of debating who is wrong (misleading advertising from.property vs reservation error on my side), a proposal arises. We were tired but still not convinced to spend our holidays in different conditions that the ones intended at booking.1. It might be a solution that needs to be investigated so that we can stay in a suite with pool2. Additional money to pay requires (+140 EUR/day)3. The entire amount to be paid in cash for the whole stay (I was asked to cancel the reservation).And one more thing. After paying ~3k EUR for our stay, on 7th of Aug, no water was available for washing during the morning. It looks like water is a real issue all over the island and not only in Corfu. Moreover, some of the facilities of the family suite were not usable or in bad condition (see attached, i.e. electric stove). I should also mention that, as I'm not usually afraid of wasps/hornets, we were not comfortable with the presence and aggressiveness of tens of flying wasps during our attempts to stay on the terrace.Last comment I would like to make, Greece faced a painful debt crisis in 2008 and it looks there is no lesson learned as a big part of transactions are requested in cash with the clear purpose of avoiding tax payment and tricking booking platform. It was the case also during my stay as detailed above and I have to say that, in the frame of above mentioned, this habit looks very bad. And I believe that the fact that I was expressly requested to pay cash was for tax avoidance, it is not an exception but a rule.Overall conclusion: Overstated and personal feeling of misleading promo of booked suite despite some positive parts of the property (location, view, welcome). Small details count a lot (bad finishes, wasps/hornets and bathroom tightness, while outdoor shower was not in use).I also let few photos attached to my review and I let everyone who read my review to conclude: Vassilis Tsatsanis, General Manager at Palms and Spas Villas Retreat, responded to this review Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your detailed, entitled and lecturing analysis and review on my property and of Greece’ general socioeconomic condition!It seems that in your country of Romania economic conditions are flourishing and prosperous and in this sense, I am very happy that you and your family of 4 had the ability to book the cheapest room in our property, a “Suite Sea View with Private Hot-Tub” in the High Season of August and somehow… got mislead (your lovely (!) wife especially) by our booking. com presentation… expecting you could get the most expensive option of a “Villa Sea View with Private Heated Pool and Jacuzzi/Hot tub” for a fraction of its value! We apologize we could not fool you, as the rest of the hundreds other guests in 15 years in business… that had you, however, “impressed with their positive reviews” here and on booking. com. To make the long story short: you made a mistake (at best!); we informed you that if you wanted a Villa with a Private Pool, there would be an additional cost; we offered you to leave/cancel your booking .com reservation at no cost and find alternative accommodation that could meet your needs and budget (and your wife’s cheap standards); you did; you were left alone to have a family consultation on what to decide; you almost begged me to find you a solution and to offer you the best (cheapest) rate for an upgrade… in order to please your wife; the cheapest rate you accepted was for cash payment and a direct reservation with us, without “transactional” costs; we had to alter all of the hotel’s weekly rooms assignment schedule in order to accommodate and please you… and your appreciation is writing this disgraceful, lying review! However, I genuinely enjoyed the homemade/artisan beer you make and offered me as a gift, during the midst of your stay  . Didn’t foresee the snake within you. We wish you and your family a happy, joyful, affordable holidays in the future. Vassilis, the owner.

  Hidden Gem in Corfu – Peace, Style and Heartfelt Hospitality

  We spent 7 wonderful days at Palms and Spa in Corfu, and we couldn’t be happier with our stay. From the organization of the transfer to the warm welcome at check-in and the smooth departure, everything was perfectly arranged. Right upon arrival, a WhatsApp group was created for us, where we could directly communicate with Vassilis (the owner) and Viktoria (his assistant). Viktoria regularly checked in to see if everything was fine and was always quick to respond to any questions or requests. The whole team – from the cleaning staff to the pool attendant – and the secret star of the property, Grace the dog, who absolutely loves cuddles, made our stay truly unforgettable with their hospitality, friendliness, and helpfulness. If I could give 10 stars, I would!We stayed in a Premium Villa with a private pool and jacuzzi. While the pool is not a swimming pool in the traditional sense, but more of a plunge pool, it was perfect for us, and we enjoyed it extensively along with the jacuzzi. The villa’s amenities were excellent, and the view was simply breathtaking. Minor technical issues, such as a dripping toilet, were resolved within a very short time – special thanks to Viktoria for handling everything so quickly!Since the property operates more like an aparthotel, breakfast is not included, which we didn’t see as a disadvantage. Within just a 5–10 minute walk, you reach a small center with two well-stocked supermarkets and several restaurants, giving us the freedom to organize meals exactly the way we wanted. The location is ideal for those who want peace and relaxation away from the crowds, yet still appreciate short walking distances to shops and dining options.The value for money is absolutely top-notch. We can highly recommend Palms and Spa to couples, those seeking peace and quiet, and anyone looking to spend a stylish and relaxing holiday in a private atmosphere. For us, it was the perfect combination of comfort, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality – we will definitely be back!   A little bit of luxury paradise

  This guy lace is fabulous. Stayed for 11 nights in a villa with a hot tub and lounge pool. The owners couldn’t be more helpful, giving us lists of suggested spots laces to eat, visit etcSpecial mention to Vassilis and Victoria for making us feel so welcome. The apartment was cleaned to a spotless standard every day and essentials like coffee, towels and toiletries replaced on demand. It’s a short walk to an excellent fish restaurant and the various bars and shops in Messonghi. A truly relaxing experience!!   We had a wonderful 6-day family stay at Palms and Spas. The view is stunning, and the place is peaceful and relaxing. The staff were attentive, helpful, and discreet. Everything is designed to make you feel at ease. I 100% recommend this place for a quiet and enjoyable vacation!
