  No one cleaned our room

  Loved staying here views was amazing and location is right next to the metro.. however they only ever came in to replace items from the mini bar. Our room wasn’t cleaned once and our bins were filled with rubbish and our towels were never once replaced over our four day period, I tried phoning each day to room service and the front desk but no one answered :/ has anyone else had this issue? This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we fully understand your frustration.As part of our concept, we operate with cleaning on demand, meaning that room cleaning is available upon request. However, once requested or needed, it should of course be carried out reliably and without issue.   I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family to stay there.

  1. How were your hostsReally friendly and welcoming.Check in was easy and the receptionist explained the hotel facilities.2. How clean was it.The room appeared spotless.3. How were the facilities.Outstanding. We were on the 5th floor and our room had glass doors which opened up to a wonderful view of the marina. There was a mini bar (standard overpriced priced snacks and drinks). There was a large light bathroom with shower over a bath.There was also a gym, sauna and outdoor pool, we didn't use either so I can't comment but we watched some brave souls swimming out in the pool.The hotel restaurant and bar weren't open but across from the hotel was a big shopping mall with a food hall, and the hotel was located within walking distance of bars and restaurants. The hotel is around 15 minutes’ walk from the central railway station.The marina area around the hotel is beautiful for walking.4. How was breakfastStunning is the only word that I can describe breakfast. There was a huge selection of cooked and continental, breads, pastries, salads, juices and hot drinks. All of which were high quality.Also the setting of the restaurant was beautiful with views of the marina.5. How did you sleep.Very Well. The room was spacious and quiet and the bed comfortable.Would you stay here again.Definitely yes. We loved the hotel and we loved Copenhagen.   Another great stay at the Island. Been staying here for over 5 years and I really appreciate the facilities and friendly professional team.
