  The owner is all the money is the most crazy woman and I love. Very nice the room and all is near. Very good choice for families and couples. I love the place and Sidnei is one of the most beautiful place at corfu

  where do I start ....arrived at almost 2am due to flight delay, our taxi from airport spent almost an hour driving around the area trying to find the polyxeni hotel but due to name change n poor lighting was very difficult...once we eventually found it now called the Pietra hotel no sight of anyone to check us in...driver found a number on window & called it & after 10/15 mins the manager came down.....took us to our 2 rooms....next door to each other all the doors & windows had been left open so room was full of insects & mosquitos & very warm....when we tried to lock our patio door & couldn’t manager said that’s broken but it’s being fixed tmrow....we then tried to sleep as so tired now as 3am ish...very hard as air con hardly working & knowing the door was unlocked...we later found out from manager they changed there name months before due to previous bad reviews....Next day got up went to pool down the road came back to find room was filthy dirty , when we tried to unpack the cupboards were very dirty & I had to use tissue & soap n water before being able to unpack, the floors were dirty & after just 10 mins of walking around in packing my feet were black with dirt....we called manager to try to get aircon working better & he told us it as broken & he could give us a fan to use until it was fixed....when he brought fan it was very dirty again & had no safety guard on the front to luckily we had no small children with us as a safety hazard.When we came back from our evening out that night found that our room was flooded to ankle deep from tap in bedroom ...called manager who came out eventually & then he moved us to a different room again this was very dirty and we had to pack our clothes in suitcases that had got soaking wet from the the flood from 1st room....next day came back to our kids room having raw sewage in there room ankle deep, we Called hotel hotel manager again who came our eventually & he move our 2 teenagers up to the floor above us, so we thought great a floor above we won’t have any problems with flooding or sewage up there...to cut a vet long upsetting story short we did get flooding again & in 10 days moved to 8 different rooms due to 1 problem or another...each time calling the manager who came or his brother did eventually and they kept apologising & we gave them the benefit of doubt , but the final straw came after a day at the beach we came back early to shower n rest for a bit before going out for evening to find yet again a flood with raw sewage all over the floor, called the manager again & whilst waiting for him called our travel company to say now enough is enough u have to move us, manager came n heard us on the phone complaining & flipped n lost his temper blaming everything on us saying we deliberately stuffed paper down toilets n plugs & we had to get out his hotel right now bad he’s calling the police ...at this point he was literally up in my husbands face in front of my 15 year old son treating him, ( hubby was still on the phone to our holiday company & the whole event was still on the call & was being recorded ) so hubby said to phone hold on a sec, get out of my face n stop threating me & manager carried on shouting so hubby said can you hear what he’s saying ( to our holiday company) who said yes sir it’s all being recorded , please step away from the situation & get far away if possible....so we went to our rooms & packed up( whilst this was going on our daughter had been talking to our neighbour who was in next room who came out as they heard shouting & they too had sewage in there room at same time they had a baby with them & the told my daughter they too had had similar issues to us & the manager had got aggressive with him too but he did it back......we swapped no,s with them & email as they were going home the next day n had booked with a different company then us n was placing a complaint also.....we packed all our stuff n left but had to leave blow ups for pool, and fridge full of food n drink as couldn’t carry anymore stuff...and we left & found accommodation at a planet pool where we had spent everyday since arriving & hubby had sounded them out the previous day regarding rooms as was fed up with all the issues we had....we had to fund this ourself as our travel company told us they couldn’t find us something that quickly ....but they would def cover our cost for that 1 night...the difference in apartments was amazing clean, cool, fresh towels n bedding ....we did not get that once at polyxeni hotel in the 11 days we were there....we ended up staying there till we left 11 days later with not one single problem & towels & proper maid service every day till we left...We have since coming back made formal complaints & are awaiting come backs from what happenend,DONT EVER BOOK HERE KNOWINGLY .......

  Reception and foyer are like a scene from the walking dead (abandoned)No staff to welcome you we were wandering about for 15 minutes ,till a scruffy looming man found usUncleaned room when he took us there (wasn't cleaned all week did it myself after 3 days) No toilet paper replacedNo clean linenNo towelsDirty pool area (again I found a broom and mop) and took rubbish bags to skip myselfNo hot waterI don't axpect the ritz but do expect hygiene...DO NOT STAY HEREonly good thing the rooms were space and large and the actual pool itself was clean.

  SHUT IT DOWN.. TERRIBLE HOTEL

  Unfortunatly I have to give a star, you don't even deserve one, very unprofessional people, dirty rooms, the place needs to be shut down or managed from someone with good customer service. The place is own by 4 or more bosses which none of them know how to run the place. No self catering. Completly the opposite from what they advertised on their website. Dirty mattress, no toilet paper, aircondition not working.Waspnest in the aircon.In 2 weeks we stayed they changed the bedsheats only once and few times towels.Rust almost everywhere.Their website advertised a snack bar but they don't have a licence for the bar.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT ENJOY YOUR DESERVED HOLIDAY.

  An absolute JOKE

  I came here with my family for a nice stay but we were shocked to see what we had saw. No self catering, poor cleaning services and the air conditioning didn’t work It was HORRIBLE!On the days where it got as hot as 30C°, the air conditioning didn’t work. The mattress had mould growing on it and the bed frame almost fell apart. They had promised a bar and lounge for drinks but to my surprise, the bar was closed permanently. And the worst bit was it was ran by not 1, not 2, 4 MANAGERS. It was an absolute madhouse. Never again will I go to this hotel. I advise you: STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!
