    My experience at Rebecca’s Villiage

    rating12 Oct 2024

I have had very good experience with this hotel. I was there with my family and friends. Hotel is located in nice place among the greenery. To the beach - aprox 10m by foot but you have shouttle bus twice a day to Sidari city centre. Rooms were renovated with nice see view and gadren view 👍. One downside - the plastic pool enclosure was unsafe and cracked. (Repairs needed) and lots of wasps close to the poolFood was good but breakfasts heavily monothematic ( toasted bread only 👎 ).Mrs Cristina at the reception desk was very polite and helpful. Greetings from Wrocław, Poland 😀

Great hotel wrong location for us

    rating02 Oct 2024

Staff and food are excellent, everywhere spotlessly clean. It's a bit out of the way if you don't have a car and too dark to walk back at night. Our only issue was that they ran out of gin and soft drinks ( maybe because getting near the end of the season) and the bar wasn't manned a lot if the time(this was because the poor girl left on her own also had to clean up and other jobs and worked really long hours)

An amazing relaxed experience perfect to just do nothing!

    rating28 Sept 2024

This place really is amazing, we had the best week there, the bathroom was a little dated however it's all working as it should and was cleaned daily, the bed was super comfy, best sleep ever away from home, the re is a small fridge in the room, for drinks and fruit etc, seating area inside and out on the balcony is so lovely, relaxing and also views from the balcony amazing! Including a Sea view ... the whole hotel was lovely the grounds amazing with beautiful views all around, very clean pool, (cleaned daily) pool bar super service ...we met the owner on our very first day, his name is Vasillis if I remember right ... sorry if spelling is not right... the choice of food was excellent, and something for all tastes, we ate very well all week. The beer was so good! Also drinks available all day, beer, wine water, juices, fizzy drinks, hot drinks .... Only 20 minute walk into sidari (the strip) so plenty to do with excursions available, vehicle rentals etc... I 100% recommend Rebecca's village hotel (all inclusive) I only wish we booked 2 weeks rather than 1, we will definitely come back. Super friendly staff extremely helpful and welcoming nothing is too much trouble at all. Rooms cleaned daily, fab staff also! This place really is awesome! Totally worth the money!A sincere thank you to all of the staff at Rebecca's village hotel Vasilis Panos, General Manager at Rebecca's Village, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest Thank you for taking the time to share your review following your stay at Rebeccas Village . End of season vibes

    rating20 Sept 2024

Room- spacious. Big bed. Nice balcony with good views. Air conditioning worked a treat. Bathroom was like something from the 70’s. Shower head would often fall off and hit you on the head or crash into the bath below. Gaps in the door frame means insects will end up in the room. Spent a few minutes before bed chasing mosquitoes around each night!Staff- generally very good. Always smiled and polite. Lady on reception very helpful. More staff in restaurant/ bar would have been useful. Food/ restaurant- food generally was good but not a lot of choice and very similar. Restaurant was very “bland” with no atmosphere. My canteen at work has a better vibe. Bread would often run out and the lack of staff meant a wait for top ups. If you like pasta and steamed rice there’s plenty every night!! Desserts were disappointing. Some nice meat dishes. They snacks by the bar were a poor effort at snacks!!!Drinks- white wine in restaurant ran out on day 2 and was not refilled. So if you wanted white wine you had to go to the bar. Bar lady also worked in restaurant so often nobody serving drinks. In the end we gave up and just had beer with evening meal. Some spirits ran out and they didn’t have anymore. It felt like they were just using up what was left before the season ended. After food there was sometimes a wait for drinks because only one bar lady. She really could do with some help as could the restaurant staff! Sometimes in the evening you would get a glass but often paper cups which is poor. Ice would often run out so drinks were warm. Bar man at the pool was friendly and would mix up cocktails that were not on the menu. He seemed happy to go the extra mile. Pool- pool was nice. There was grass growing out of the pool drainage vents. This could have been sorted in 30 minutes. We never saw any gardeners in the week we were there. Just needs a bit of a tidy up. Again it felt like end of season and nobody was that bothered. It’s a shame because the views are amazing. Location- hotel is slightly remote but very peaceful. 20 min walk to beach/ supermarket. 30 minutes walk into Sidari centre. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. 2 busses a day into town. Taxi’s cheap. Reception will arrange car hire if required. Overall we had a relaxing holiday and I guess we got what we paid for. A few tweaks and this hotel could be a lot better. The few staff really try their best with what they have. Looking back at the reviews though this years complaints were also last years complaints so I’m not sure the management want to improve sadly. We will return to the area but not this hotel.

    Amazing hotel and wonderful staff

    rating18 Sept 2024

First of all the staff at the hotel were wonderful, including the bar staff. The rooms were nice some say dated but you don’t go to a holiday for the room! Me and my family stayed for 12 nights, no complaints food was good, they always had pasta on which is good for the picky eaters out of us! The only complaint would be about getting taxis which has nothing to do with the hotel and you can ask them at the reception to book one for you so it’s a lot cheaper. Pool was really good and deep and pool bar was amazing! It is a quiet hotel since it’s out of the way and yes there is going to be a cat or dog around as there is all around Greece no complaints about that!
