    Lovely peaceful stay with wonderful staff, but breakfast needs work

    We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, with a special mention for housekeeping, who did an excellent job and were always pleasant.Our panoramic bungalow was great — quiet, comfortable, and with a wonderful view. It felt very peaceful, which was exactly what we wanted. The hotel grounds were also beautifully kept and clearly well looked after.The main area for improvement was breakfast. There was a good spread, and the cold food was very good, but it became a bit like Groundhog Day, with exactly the same food every morning and even the same music tracks playing at the same times each day. The English-style hot food was poor: the bacon was more like warmed-up ham, the scrambled eggs were lumpy, and the sausage was inedible.One other point: although this is advertised as an adults-only hotel, we did see several youngsters who looked as young as around 14, which felt a little odd given the description.Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing stay and would still recommend the hotel, especially for the setting, the views, the quietness, and the excellent staff. With a better and more varied breakfast, it would be even stronger.

    My son and I were on holiday celebrating his birthday and we were very pleased with our choice. We booked a two bed villa and the views were wonderful. The villa itself was very quiet which is just what we wanted. We weren’t worried about entertainment at the hotel as we were looking to just chill and relax. The staff are excellent from the front desk to the cleaning ladies who serviced our room. Special shout out to Diana on reception who was super lovely and helpful, James who drives the buggy and Ria the spa manager who was truly lovely. We did have an issue with a smell from the downstairs loo over a few days but were moved to a different villa and the issue was sorted. We are extremely well travelled worldwide staying at the best hotels and I must admit on this occasion I cried when I left as our holiday had been just fabulous and just what we both needed and wanted looked after by wonderful Greek staff. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Rodostamo it was truly amazing. X

    A v good choice if you want a quiet relaxing holiday

    We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for a week in early May . The room was lovely and the room got serviced daily with two bottles of water being left . My recommendations would be a) hire a car - there is not too much to do right around the hotel and it is nice to get out and see the island . I have put a picture of the link that the hotel uses to hire cars . We hired a car at the airport which I suspect will be have been cheaper although getting it from the hotel may suit some people if you only want it for a day or so . I would recommend a small compact car as the roads are not always that wide a smaller car will be easier to park . Some of the cars offers by the hotel would be larger than I would choose for 2 people going sightseeing .b) I would suggest that you do get a front facing room looking out to the sea . The ones facing the other way have no view at all . The only issue is that some building work is being done and a new set of villas is being constructed ( see one of the photos ) but most of the construction has been done and we had no noise issues at all .When we were there there was no evening entertainment and activities in the pool such as aerobics did not appear to be on . I suspect that these start later in the season. We went on the local bus to Corfu town . It is pretty simple to do this - you pay the driver - coming back I would recommend that you buy your tickets from the little kiosk at the bus terminal rather than getting them form the driver . That way if you stand near the rear doors you may be able to get on quickly and get a seat as otherwise you will be standing !
