    Lovely place to stay

    rating19 May 2026

This is a lovely luxurious hotel in an idyllic setting on the hillside overlooking the small bay at Kalami. After checking in we met the lovely Telis who took us and our luggage to our room on his buggy - actually, the buggy can only go so far and we had to walk the rest of the way with Telis managing the luggage and explaining the layout to us. Our room, 615, was fantastic with every amenity (including bottled water which was replaced every day) and a lovely welcome gift waiting for us too, but the real wow factor was the view from our huge balcony which had both a table and chairs and two extremely comfortable loungers. Breakfast was absolutely amazing with everything one could wish for and we liked the bottom pool which we used as it was less busy than the top one. We didn’t use the sunbeds on the beach - preferring not to pay for something that really should be included in the room rate - but the beach itself was quite comfortable to lie on once you’d created your niche in the pebbles.Breakfast was the only meal we ate at the hotel as we didn’t really fancy the menus at Dyo Elies (Italian - why?!) and Callao, but we ate at the Kalami Beach Taverna a couple of times (Greek night on Thursdays is great but it was packed so make sure to book) as we did at Thomas’s Place a few doors down. Both restaurants were great value with lovely beach side locations. We loved Nikolas Taverna in Agni where we had lunch a couple of times (it’s a really nice walk along the coastal path, although a bit of a scramble in places) and had a wonderful fine dining experience at the White House - not cheap, but a fantastic experience sitting in the shade of the olive trees looking at the view across the bay to the hotel. We also had coffee a couple of times at the beautiful taverna at Kouloura (a bit of a hilly stroll north of the hotel) and it’s also worth walking a bit further to the lovely Da Stefano snack bar on Kerassia Beach and then on to the lovely little bay at Agios Stefanos. Everybody who goes to Kalami has to go to Dimitri’s and we were no exception - George, who collected us from the hotel, was great and the view from there is amazing although the food was little different to that served in the other tavernas and the service was a bit quirky. We also went on George’s boat to Corfu Town which was really excellent value at €30 each return - George is a great comedian, but his play list is a bit dodgy! This was a great holiday in a truly lovely location and the only tiny niggle was that while some of the staff at breakfast were lovely a couple of them were a bit off - we asked for a second cappuccino on one occasion and the waiter just said “No” - we thought he was joking (it was never a problem any other time) but the coffee never did appear. Ah well, Leaving that aside, the rest of the experience was wonderful and the staff, particularly Telis and George, were great - thanks for making our experience so enjoyable and memorable!

Stunning view but things u need to know

    rating17 May 2026

We’ve just got back from this hotel. The views are stunning. The hotel is lovely and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. A couple of things you need to know. They charge for the sunbed €25 for the front row €15 for the second and third row on the beach sunbeds by the pool are free. This restaurant and bar is 25% more expensive than everywhere else this is not what I would call a cheap place to stay.Kalami is one of the most most expensive places on the island. having said that the supermarket is close by and the balconies are fantastic fridges in the room allow you to purchase supplies and keep them cold although the weather was changeable while we were there we had a fabulous time the hotel is made up of several blocks up a very steep mounting side. There are lots of steps but two lifts to enable you to get to the top a boy when you’re up there it is worth it. We were on the sixth floor as you see the views were incredible. We relaxed from the moment we stepped into the hotel to the moment we left they will send a buggy to the lift for the last small part of the walk up and down. It is not a late night party town it is 10 minutes from Cassiopi and 40 to 50 minutes from Food town I will say no more let the views in the picture speak for themselves. You will enjoy it. Just make sure you take some cash.

Just the most wonderful holiday, rebooked for this year!

    rating18 Apr 2026

Visited for my first time in July for 5 days with a friend, it really was the most wonderful trip from start to finish and far exceeded our expectations (which are already high)! The hotel has been recently refurbished throughout and is spotless, the views are to die for and the staff are so friendly. The beaches are lovely (take your rock shoes) and the water is crystal clear, the new addition of the jetty to jump off is great. Callao the beach club and restaurant linked to the hotel is wonderful, we went on jazz night which had such a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Breakfast in the hotel is plentiful with so many options for everyone and it’s a great spot for a pre dinner drink in the sunshine. We also visited some of the local restaurants - the food scene here really is exceptional fine dining. Would recommend The White House and Toulas (via Georges boat). We also spent a day at Crystal Beach club which is only 20 mins walk away which was lovely. Very relaxed and low key. The owner of the hotel Maria was delightful and so kindly gave us a leaving gift of olive oil hand soap. We also had local olive oil and oregano in our room which was such a treat. I came home telling the family how wonderful Kalami and San Antonio was that we are returning with the whole family (3 rooms) in May this year! Cannot wait to see you all again! The Munday family.

    Really lovely

    rating02 Nov 2025

The San Antonio is a beautiful hotel. The views from our lovely room were fantastic. We love Corfu but Kalami is extra fabulous. The food was great, plus their other restaurant opposite the hotel called the Callao - a bit more expensive but with fine dining vibe. Thomas's restaurant was another one we enjoyed . We also loved the swimming pool at the top which luckily was almost outside our room. Beautiful extra thick mattresses on the sunbeds. You can take the bus into Kassiopi which is a really nice little town. Lovely walk to Kouloura with a nice looking taverna (lunch only) we didn't go in but it looked great. There is a beach a bit further on from Kouloura called Chouchoulia I think that's right - similar anyway! Beautiful for swimming there or just taking in the beauty of the place. San Antonio is built on a few levels so some less mobile people might find it a bit hard. We did see a lady there who was slightly disabled using a stick and she seemed quite happy. There are also lifts and a buggy to take people up and down.We would love to come back here very soon. Hope the cat family are doing OK. We loved them! , Owner at San Antonio Corfu Resort, responded to this review Dear magdadada,Thank you for your detailed feedback. Relaxing stay in beautiful Kalami

    rating22 Oct 2025

What a lovely setting this hotel is in. Perched on the hillside in blocks of rooms, all but the very lower ones have a spectacular view out across Kalami bay. We were in block 3 (level 2 on the lift) in what the hotel describe as a lavish sea view room. It was spacious with a comfy super king sized bed, a lovely balcony with table & chairs and a great bathroom with walk in shower. Have to say though that some of the furniture in the room is looking a bit tired and could do with updating - the surfaces of the bedside tables and dressing table were scratched and stained, as was the small tea/coffee station table, which was also wobbly. It was all clean though. As others have said, reception and the restaurant are on the lower level so it’s a walk down steps and an incline for breakfast, to access the village and other tavernas etc. But they do run a buggy which will take you back up the incline to the bottom lifts which we used a few times. Reception staff and in fact all staff were friendly, welcoming and very happy to help. Reception booked the water taxi for us so we went to Corfu Town for a day trip. Well worth it as Corfu old town is beautiful. We also visited Kassiopi which is about 15 mins away by taxi (€20 each way) which again reception ordered for us. There is a bus service which runs along the top road from Corfu town to Kassiopi however it doesn’t always run to time so we opted to use a taxi for convenience. Breakfast was buffet style with ample choice of both cold and hot offerings. It was usually busiest between 9-10am when getting a table could be a challenge so we ended up going to breakfast a bit earlier in order to get a table. Service was a bit hit and miss at times with the staff very busy clearing tables so getting tea and coffee both initially and top ups was sometimes a bit slow. Maybe the option of having a teapot for tea and a cafetière for coffee would help solve this?We ate here (as it becomes the evening dinner restaurant) in the evening on our first night. We had a very pleasant meal and bottle of wine. Overall we had a lovely holiday. Kalami is pretty and we enjoyed exploring the area and the local tavernas - Callao and Thomas’s Place. We loved the little cove at Yialiskari, about a 20 minute walk from Kalami. There’s a beach taverna called Crystal Beach bar there which did light lunches and snacks. We used the sunbeds (can’t lie on pebble beaches anymore lol) which were €30 for front row and €20 for row behind and included 2 bottles of water and service to the sun beds. We can definitely recommend a stay here. There’s hotel is lovely as is Kalami. , Owner at San Antonio Corfu Resort, responded to this review Dear Pinklady 9,Thank you for your honest and informative review.
