  Lovely quiet hotel on seafront away from town peaceful

  A wonderful small family run hotel it’s at the far end of Sidari about 10 mins walk to the main center for all bars restaurants shops etc - a taxi back is about 10€ or it was €15 on a Saturday so high season may be different Rooms lovely spacious - only negative beds very hard but nice pillows and excellent air con and something rare very good conditioner in room but a terrible hair dryer (one u have to hold finger in place all the time ) We booked a sea view but on arrival this was at the side of the hotel so a partial sea view so we asked to change and got charged €50 for the “upgrade” to a front facing 2 doors away . Had an issue with toilet but they ensured someone came immediately to sort .Pool area spacious it was very quiet while we there so most days we had the pool to ourselves in afternoon - pool bar is drinks only from reception so for food at lunch Need to go next door to waves which was good had an excellent salad there Breakfast is minimal but typical European - fried eggs/ omelette type egg ( no filling ) bacon of sorts / grilled vegetables and then each day some other Greek elements - some cereal and cold meats and cheeses yoghurt and fruit was limited unfortunately one fruit chopped in syrup in bowl for yoghurt and then apple / pear in a fruit bowl Staff excellent and very friendly Can not fault this hotel Wonderful quiet location away from town amazing views on seafront lovely pool !

  A nice hotel with a touch of quality

  We like to visit Greece out of season and after researching Corfu came up with the Sidari Beach hotel. It had very good reviews and suited what we wanted. We opted for a Junior Suite with side sea view as we like a spacious room. On arrival, one of the owners was on Reception and was very friendly and helpful. The family who run it were very professional and customer focussed. The Wave restaurant next door was also a plus for some evening meals etc. The public areas of the hotel are quite elegant with a grand piano and lots of seating space inside and outside. As the hotel was quiet, there was plenty of choice for sun beds in fact my wife often had the pool to herself. Breakfast was included and had a reasonable choice, the best aspect for me was the Greek Yogurt with honey. The cooked items such as fried eggs, bacon and sausage were always cold so could be improved. It finishes at 10am which is a little early for us on holiday so after the first two mornings we skipped breakfast. The Junior Suite 304 (Leopardi) on the top floor had very nice sea views and a good sized balcony that had the sun most of the day and was reasonably priced at £180 a night. The fridge was efficient as was the safe. The bed was comfortable and there was a comfortable arm chair and quality furnishings. Hanging space was an issue so my wife had to hang her long dresses in the bathroom as the wardrobes were too short. A big issue for us was the shower which constantly changed pressure so was often freezing or scalding. Another issue was the lack of a kettle or any tea/coffee making facilities in the room. A small investment in kettles, cups and basic tea and coffee sachets would have really enhanced the room for us. If Sidari is your place of choice and we met several people who return year after year then this is probably the best choice for hotel but there are loads of self catering apartments. It was that little bit too far from restaurants and bars for us in the centre but there are a few options on the walk in which we used. We decided that Sidari wasn’t for us, probably because there were too many full English breakfasts advertised at 8 Euros with large bill boards with pictures of big plates of food to entice the Brits and perhaps because we got some iffy weather with strong winds but that was just bad luck. However, it would probably be just as problematic walking in to the action in 35 degrees heat in the summer. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and from the reviews, many people love the hotel and you can’t fault the commitment of the owners in looking after their guests.

  Stunning Views, excellent, friendly, helpful staff, they couldn't do enough for you. It's a ten minute walk along the beachfront to the resort centre but the walk is mainly flat.

  Had a lovely week here in this little hotel. Staff are so helpful, the entire place is spotless. Resort itself is a friendly place, not so commercialised.

  We are leaving this beautiful hotel today after a fantastic week,so sad to go,staff are amazing,so friendly and helpful,rooms spotless and cleaned everyday,big balcony which was a great suntrap in evening,air conditioning great as it’s hot here at the moment,lovely beach across the road,breakfast was lovely in the morning and views spectacular ,lovely clean pool and jacuzzi,always sunbeds,about a 10 minute walk to strip but there are a few restaurants on the way,we hired a boat and went to canal D’Amour which is fantastic
