    Very disappointing and insensitive.

    I had a 7‑night stay booked, but my father tragically passed away two days before arrival. I immediately provided all documents, yet the hotel refused a refund or fair alternative. They offered only 3 nights for the same season (just months after my father’s death). Cold, dismissive, and lacking basic compassion. Would never recommend.

    We had a fantastic 5-night stay at Silver Bay Hotel in Corfu! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The hotel itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for a getaway.Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool area was a highlight, spacious, and always spotless. Breakfast each morning was fresh and varied, with something for everyone, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals throughout the day.The location is also great — tucked away enough to be quiet and restful, but still close to beaches and local attractions. We rented a car and found it very easy to explore the island from here.Overall, Silver Bay Hotel exceeded our expectations and gave us a memorable, relaxing holiday. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back!

    The stay here was a bit better. The beds were comfier. However, the shower was always leaking. I'm guessing nobody noticed it. It was very inconvenient, since there was always a big wet puddle in the room. But otherwise it was fine. The pool was also nice. And again, the hospitality of Mr. Pantelis was admirable. It made the whole stay better. He's an amazing person.

    Terrible, unorganised, 'closed' during my stay, wouldn't recommend

    I had a terrible experience here at the hotel. I get to the hotel and it says it's 'closed' but there's only 5 other groups out of 40-50?. So there's no bar, or food service at all. I had to be driven to their partner hotel 1km out to get breakfast which was included in my package and that was average at best. Then had to wait another half an hour after breakfast to be picked up (even if it was a 3 minute drive back). In the room I had, the telephone didn't work so I had to come up and down to ask for basic things. In the morning, my power was cut off because they were having issues with the power. Another guest said that their power and water was cut off the day before and I was given no notice or information about this. In general, the exterior could've been maintained better and the pool was filthy and not maintained. They said they were opening the day after I left but by the looks of it, nothing was prepared for this in the first place!I don't understand why they would be accepting guests when they are 'closed'! I was told by another guest who spoke Greek that apparently on the system they have, they can't see the guests and all unless they have over 25 bookings?! I do believe if they were open it would've been a different experience. However this really impacted my trip and first impressions. Luckily I was only there for a night compared to other people who were there for a few days and had to suffer here. I don't expect it to look exactly like the pictures however, I did expect to have all the facilities that was included! In the photos you can see what I was supposed to receive e.g. bar and food but the food area was closed off! Nothing was communicated in advance properly.

    I am very pleased with the whole experience. The place is just in the right place. Not to close to the loud city nights, but yet not so far. Beautiful swimming pool, good bar, excellent food, affordable price, and very very professional staff. I strongly recommend Silver Bay. Five stars for sure.
