It is just like home

What a friendly, kind and helpful owners, Soula and Procopiu! Two excellent weeks in excellent conditions (studio no.2 on ground floor). The property is absolutely beautiful. A quiet place (if other guests are not noisy). It is just like home. The room is big, it is clean, the full bed is comfortable, large and extra long, plenty of furniture in the room, a kitchenette, a very good fridge with 2 doors, plenty of hot water, huge terrace next to a wonderful garden. Strong WiFi. Comfortable and close to the beach.

We had spent a whole week there. The hosts were really friendly. They gave me a bottle of their own brand wine, figs they grew and also some lovely lasagne as well. Just few minutes from the beach. We stayed in a one room apartment on the ground floor for our family of 4 with a balcony at the back. They had put up an extra double in the living room. The wifi wasn't great but it's adequate. The cooker was on the top of the oven which was a bit inconvenient to cook (we like to cook using local produces). There aren't many TV channels to choose from the tv. However, we can overlook all the above as the hosts were so lovely. They even took out the garbage and did some basic cleaning for us even it's a self-serviced apartment. Also it's very nice and quiet here.We hope to return to Villa Nefeli again.

Comfortbale Accomodation at Bargain Prices

We have just spent a week at the Villa Nefelli. We had a standard ground floor room, whilst our Daughter and family booked a family suite on the top floor.The suite was somewhat more expensive, but boy was it worth it !. Lovely views and superb facilities and décor.Our own room was perfectly comfortable - much more so than we were expecting for the price we paid.The Villa is situated in a quite location, and yet is less than 150 yards from the Malibu Beach and Malibu Taverna (separately reviewed) which are among the strongest attractions that this resort has to offer. All in all, this place was perfect for us, and we will undoubtedly return in the future

Comfortable, quiet place close to the beach

The Villa Nefeli is a good place if you want some quiet time in Corfu. A few minutes' walk from the beach, with ancient olive groves at the back and surrounded by a small but beautiful garden, this is a retreat far enough away from the tourist crowds, yet still in walking distance from restaurants, shops and all the other ameneties of Agios Georgios South. And at night it even comes to life with the fragrance of the "four-o'clock-flour" (Mirabilis Jalapa) in the garden and the call of the scops owl (Otus scops) from the fields (once we even saw it flying past). Add to this the very friendly landlady who really cares about her house and her guest, and you have a great place to stay in the area. The rooms are a bit small, the cooker a bit basic, but it's good value, and that's what comes with it.

What a find!

My husband and I had not booked the Villa Nefelli as we had decided to drive to Agios Georgios and choose our accommodation once we had had a look round. We stayed in a lovely one bedroom apartment which had 2 large balconies, one for sunrise and one for sunset....absolutely gorgeous views of mountains, small villages and olive groves. The lovely owners were very hospitable and made our stay extremely pleasant, they even gave us a plate of delicious home cooked food and a bowl of apricots picked straight from the garden. The apartment was very well equipped and the beach was beautiful. If you want a quiet, relaxing and traditional Greek holiday then this is definately the place for you. We hope to return soon.
