Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Half board can be booked. A continental breakfast and dinner are served every day. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.     It was a great setting, great atmosphere and the view of sunset. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. We had an amazing time. The time were amazing and delicious. The view of the sunset it was beautiful while drinking and had dinner. It was unforgettable experience. The staff surprised us at the end with the drink and I had a really great time. Xx

    Privacy Breach and Poor Handling by Management

    I stayed at Abaton Island Resort & Spa on 25 September and unfortunately my stay did not meet the standard expected of a 5-star hotel.Due to island-wide power interruptions, the phone in my room rang loudly three times every time the electricity came back on, waking me repeatedly until around 3am. I understand the power cut itself was outside the hotel’s control, but the repeated disturbance and lack of any support or solution made the night extremely uncomfortable.The next morning, a housekeeper entered my room without properly knocking, at a moment when I had just stepped out of the shower. This was a clear breach of privacy and left me feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable.I raised both issues with reception and was referred to a manager, who unfortunately was dismissive and uninterested in addressing my concerns. I also contacted senior management afterward, but the responses were equally unhelpful, stating that no compensation or goodwill gesture would be offered.While staff like Kostas were wonderful and the food at Buddha Bar was excellent, the overall experience — especially the lack of accountability from management — did not reflect the price of €315 for one night.I hope this was an isolated incident, but based on how it was handled, I cannot recommend the hotel at this time.

    Excellent hotel and facilities. Weather was perfect and, whilst the hotel was relatively quiet, being end of season, staff were attentive, all facilities were open and restaurants offered quality food options. We had an idyllic relaxing week, would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

    Firstly the good bits. Lovely airy pristine reception and communal areas. There are lots of spaces to sit outside or in and staff always on hand to look after you. The smell was so gorgeous that I brought a reed diffuser and room spray home with me. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. My deep blue room looked over the sea, was spacious and fantastically decorated. Not sure about the bath next to the bed, but there is a separate shower room and loo. The pool area and gardens had masses of sunbeds available so no fight for one ever. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice including an a la carte selection. I was half board so had dinner as well. This could be taken in the buffet or by arrangement in one of the three a la carte restaurants. I ate in all and found the food very good indeed, especially Bony Fish. Service in all restaurants was super. Buddha bar, by the pool was great for drinks and also did food, which I did not try but the sushi looked good. Situated about a couple of miles out of Hersonissos center it was lovely and quiet, but walking into the town was an easy stroll. I was really well looked after by the staff and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.Not so good bits. As the buildings all face North there was no sun on the balcony at all, but the view was lovely. Hotel supplied two vey small bottles of water each evening but any other water was charged at 5euros a bottle, not really acceptable at a 5 star hotel. There is tea and coffee facilities in the room with a small supply on arrival but I was charged 10 euros for three nespresso pods and 4 sachets of milk in the room when the first supply ran out. Again not acceptable for a 5 star resort. There is no evening entertainment so it seems most people go to theor rooms after dinner. The bar was very nice but very empty most evenings. There is really no beach to speak of so swimming was problematic. There was a jetty with a ladder into the sea but not for unconfident swimmers, A steep incline led down to a small public beach just out side the resort. Most people seemed to swim in the pool or not bother at all. The lack of accessible sandy beach was the main thing I missed. However I thoroughly enjoyed my 10 days a Abadon Island resort and spa.

    We arrived at the Abaton Hotel and received a lovely welcome. The service was excellent. Special thanks to the representative Julieta who always took care of our every request. The breakfast was perfect. The best room service there is. Thanks to the entire Abaton team. We will definitely be back again next year. 🙏🏽
