Well, we've been back home in less than 8 hours so immediately felt obliged to submit this positive review at the earliest opportunity. What can we say having just spent the last 6 days at the Adele Beach Hotel centrally located just outside the town of Rethimno and on the north coast of Crete. The hotel is around a 70 minutes car/bus transfer journey (one way) from Chania Airport, but the journey is worth the time and effort when you eventually reach the hotel. The Adele Beach Hotel is ideally located with a 25 minutes bus (number 20) journey/ride away from the nearest historic town of Rethimno which literally has something to offer everyone but just remember to purchase bus tickets in advance from all local stores and shops at 2 euro per trip. The Adele Beach Hotel is centrally located near to the main high road with numerous bars, ATM's, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and activity venues along with a pharmacy, hire car centres and a medical centre. The hotel is set back and away from the main road so there are no noise or pollution issues. As for the Adele Beach Hotel itself...WOW! The hotel is shown as 4 star and they certainly deserve that rating. From the moment we arrived - staff were truly professional, smartly dressed, approachable, friendly, informative, accommodating, ready to assist and help to exceed all levels of customer service to ensure every single guests stay expectation were met. The facilities on site and in the rooms are extremely modern, clean and impressively maintained. For us we loved the room shower facility. There is one large pool with it's own pool bar and free sunbed access around the large pool area and on the private beach. The selection of food is local Greek cuisine meets European and west. Strongly recommend you go fully inclusive with breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner which are served throughout the day and evening at sets times so you'll never go hungry or thirsty. During our stay in Oct there was no evening entertainment at the hotel but there is an idyllic evening bar where guests played board games and playing cards to be utilised at your leisure. So in a nutshell...would we stay at the Adele Beach Hotel again in the future....100% yes! If you're toying with the idea to visit Crete in 2026 then seriously consider reviewing their website and book your accommodation asap. As for all the staff from us - a HUGE thank you again and enjoy your well deserved rest during the winter months and all the best in 2026!

One of the best in terms of Price/Quality, great for quiet relaxing vacation

We had a wonderful 10-day vacation at Adele Beach hotel. It's ideally located right halfway between Chania and Heraklion, so you can visit the cultural attractions of both towns, and explore Retymnon area (there is plenty to see there - monasteries, caves, pottery villages, organic farms and so on). There are many car rentals not far from the hotel, or you can take a bus to get to Retymno, Chania or Heraclion, the bus stop is also nearby. A tour desk is also on the road opposite the hotel. This is an ideal place for those who want a peaceful and quiet holiday, it has everything you need for that. Thankfully, there aren't numerous restaurants or night bars with loud music inside the hotel (there's only one very good restaurant there, one pool bar and one evening bar), no noisy play areas for children, nobody beckons you to join in on folk dancing at a loud entertainment evening—everything here is focused on rest, relaxation, and peace. What could be better? There's one pool —it's quite large, with very comfortable soft sun loungers, and next to the pool is a private beach with plenty of cozy loungers right by the sea. The restaurant offers a huge selection of delicious Mediterranean, Italian, French, German, Japanese, Chinese (and others) cuisines, including a plethora of seafood. There's a wide variety of delicious mini desserts, so you simply can't stop trying them. Tastes in food are different, but with such big choice you can always find something very tasty exactly for you. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are very kind, caring, attentive, and happy to solve any problem so you can enjoy your stay. So, we would definitely recommend this hotel, and will be back

Small hotel that treats its guests like members of the family

This was our second time at the Adele Beach (the first was in September 2022). Upon entering the hotel reception, we were surprised that some of the staff immediately recognised us... after three years!!Check-in was swift and our side sea-facing room was spotlessly clean, exactly as we'd remembered. The restaurant had been extended since our last stay with a terraced area for outside dining and a second undercover dining area at the beach front. Food was varied and they try to cater for evry taste, from simple pizza, pasta and salad options to providing a Cretan selection for those wishing to embrace the local dining. There is a nice wide pool with plenty of space for those who wish to swim and those wishing to 'bob about' in the water. The pool sits at the beachfront too, separtaed by a beach bar providing drinks from 10am to 6pm daily. Alternatively, there are fresh drinking water machines around the hotel. For us, one of the nicest features is that the hotel provides sunloungers and parasols exclusively for guests on the beach. Sun beds are plentiful and although some get reserved, you'd have to get up after 2pm not to find one!All in all we had a great 10 night stay and Christina and her team are a credit to her and the hotel overall. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday with nice rooms and good food away from the hustle and bustle of Rethymon.

10/10

10/10 overall, staff were all friendly and super helpful, the rooms get cleaned everyday, they have two all inclusive bars one in the lobby and one outside right by the beach. Not to mention the all inclusive food has a ton of variety and different things to pick from all the way from pizza to sushi and options even for those who are on a diet, they also have a variety in desserts and self-serve ice cream for breakfast lunch or dinner. Additionally the hotel has a very chic, modern vibe and also has many shops, bars and restaurants to go to right infront of the hotel aswell as the hotel being on the beach. Definitely recommend wether your going on a couples or family trip this is the right place for anybody, and a big shout to the manager Christina who is very welcoming and eager to help!
