  Great service but the appartements itself need a upgrade!

  Michael and Maria deserve both a 10 keeping the service and the cleaning fantastic! The owners of the appartements really need to renovate. Most of it is outdated or damage / broke. For a couple of days it's fine Also because of the help from Maria and Micheal. If they weren't there I would give lower stars. The owners need to step up their game and fix things. If that is done than the location, the personal and the appartements will be perfect !

  The Creta Star was a great value, great location near beaches and tavernas. Everything was extremely clean and rooms had everything you need. The view from the room was fantastic, and the pool nice also. Perfect simple place, Mikaili is the perfect host. He makes time spent there more interesting and fun. We loved him!

  A lovely stay!

  We've just returned from a 12 night holiday at The Creta Star. We were greeted on our arrival by a very friendly man who, throughout our stay was very helpful and so kind to our 3 year old son..even bringing us some fresh eggs from his garden to feed him. We found our apartment to be quite basic but typically Greek. The steps up to our room were steep with 3 suitcases, a buggy and a sleepy 3 year old, but so worth the climb when we opened our shutters to such a wonderful view. Also the supermarket is a good 10 minute walk, but at 10pm at night we were offered a lift to the supermarket for the basic essentials by Mike in his car. We would recommend hiring a car maybe to save your arms and legs especially to stock your fridge with water bread milk etc. If you are looking for modern, super spotless accommodation maybe this isn't the place for you, but if you are looking for somewhere to chill out in pretty surroundings in a traditional Greek-style apartment then we definitely recommend The Crete Star.

  Stayed here. About 20 year's. AGO AND WHEN LOOK FOR. SOME WERE. TO STAY UP CAME CRETA STAR. SO BOOKED FOR ONE WEEK THE VILLAS IS IN A QUIET. LOCATION. WHICH. WE LOVE THE VILLAS. WE'RE. BASIC BUT CLEAN COMFORTABLE. KITCHEN. Was basic. But I managed. To make so lovely food as were self Catering. We hired. A car to get around which was great. Mick as my husband call him was a very nice man Plesent. And always greeted every one when passing. The cleaner was very. keep room clean and tide if you want reasonable clean place to stay and in a quiet. Location I would. Recommend but could. Do with. Some up grading and it could. Be a little. Gem again If you are elderly. Or have. Problems with stair. It not recommended as there. Are lots of steps to climb Stay in some 3 and 4 star hotels But to honestly. Say we. Had a great. Time and meet some nice people. Definitely. Stay again . As. Long as I can climb those. Steps Like to thank mick and. His wife for the home made. Food and biscuits

  Cheap place with poor service

  Location is quiet, but far from the beach. Very nice view from balcony. Nice guy in reception.Moscitos and small flys in the room. We all were bited by them during night time.Kitchen stuff so simple.WiFi internet so poor quality in room.Bath tub gives only cold or hot water. So difficult to manage it for comfort water themperature.
