  The staff were very rude and mean, could barely speak english. Rooms were dirty, the bedsheet was stained and kitchen could not be used. There was also a 50euro fee if you wanted to use the airconditioner.

  We booked this suite through a tour agency, and what we found was nothing like what we booked. The suite was dirty, unkempt, and not what was shown in the booking. There were stains on the bed sheets, a cockroach in the kitchen cupboard, dirty floors, stained and worn-out towels, an overall neglected look with dusty, worn furniture, and a filthy bathroom with a leaking shower. Even the entrance door looked shabby.When we first reported the issues, the local Christian Tour representative called the hotel manager, who claimed we received ‘excellent services.’Throughout our stay, no proper cleaning was carried out. On the third day, staff entered our rooms but only removed a few empty cans and left everything else untouched, even though we requested the room to be cleaned. The sheets and towels were not replaced, and we were not provided with toilet paper. We were told to go buy toilet paper ourselves because the hotel only provides some for the first 2–3 days.This has been a very unpleasant experience, with unfriendly behavior and lack of basic hospitality. Definitely not what we paid for.

  Terrible experience. The hosts were rude and unhelpful. The air conditioner wasn’t included and cost an extra 50 euros per room, which was only mentioned upon arrival. To make things worse, I couldn’t cook with the so-called kitchenette, as there was only one oven provided — extremely rusty and unusable. I would never come back and strongly advise others to avoid this place.

  Just completed a 10 day stay at Aglaia apartments and was hugely disappointed. We met the owner on arrival and he was helpful and friendly but did not see him or any other staff after that apart from 1 day when we were by the pool and 4 of them were having an argument at the poolside. We were allocated room 11 which was over 30 steps upwards, being asthmatic these steps were killers in the heat. The room was dated and had just 2 single beds, a table and 2 chairs and a wardrobe and dressing table. The air conditioning was €7 a day. The shower was merely a hand held tap adapter with no shower curtain. The kettle was faulty and burnt my hand on the first use until we worked out you had to unplug it to turn it off and let it cool down. The cutlery and plates were limited and we were cautious about trying the hot plate anyway based on the kettles safety. The door to the hall was paper thin and we could hear every door, voice and step outside. The cleaner didn't change our bedding or even make up the beds once in our 10 day stay, the 2 towels we were given were changed every 2 or 3 days and the single bin in the bathroom emptied at the same time. The floor was swept sporadically and had we been left with a brush we would have happily done it ourselves. We even had to buy our own toilet roll as there were none. It seemed like the owner was struggling to keep the apartments adequate. The bar was never open and we never saw any staff.

  Can't recommend this hotel. Rooms and bathroom were untidy, bedsheets were not changed in whole week. Room was chilly by night. Towels had to be asked to get clean ones. No custom service at all. Never know when person in charge works there, he comes and goes however he wants, and he is the only one who works there. Reception is open only few hours per week, you never know when it's open. Not a good experience. Bus stop nearby is only positive thing.
