Location

    Overall, I had a good experience and the staff were friendly and cooperative. There are a few things that could be improved, such as adding a microwave to the rooms and addressing the noise from the refrigerator at night. It would also be nice to have more variety in the breakfast menu. If possible, having someone available at reception more frequently would be helpful.It's important to note that Chania downtown is about an 18 km drive from the hotel. There is a bus connection, but the location is not very close to the city center. However, there is a beautiful beach just 200 meters behind the hotel, and many restaurants nearby offering great food.The highlight for me was the beach, it has one of the most stunning sunsets in Chania. I visited many beaches during my trip, but this one offered the clearest and most picturesque sunset views.Overall, it’s great value for money, and the family running the place is very welcoming and helpful.

    We stayed one week in Albatros Hotel Maleme last week and we were very satisfied. The hotel was quite small but it had a lovely atmosphere, everyone were really kind and you can tell the hotel is mostly run by women. Everything works well and you are always welcomed. The hotel restaurant had great food with great price. Our favorite part of the hotel was the pool. We spent hours there enjoying the Mediterranean climate. The boy who had an internship also did his job very well and he will certainly become a professional. Thank you Hotel Albatros!

    Had a wonderful holiday, never felt so welcome in a hotel before.The staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. Got so spoiled the 2 weeks we where there, so was hard to go back home again. We will definitely go back again.

    A welcome return to our favourite hotel.The wonderful welcome and hospitality from all the family and staff at this perfect hotel is just brilliant.Never let down by mama's cooking and the care and atention from all.Will certainly be returning asap and would recommend this hotel to any one who enjoys "home" comforts.

    Spent the last week in Maleme and went to the Albatros on 3 occasions to eat. The food is amazing ! Couldn't fault anything. The staff are lovely and friendly and naked you feel at home. Had the Moussaka one night which was gorgeous, another night had the 'Special' which was a home made lamb dish and again tasted excellent. On our last night we had the mixed grill, such value for money and all the meat was so succulent and tender, especially the chicken. Don't stay in Maleme without going to eat at the Albatros - I guarantee you won't be disappointed!!
