  really nice view.friendly staff, but the only english speaking person-in-charge was not present, only on phone, therefore it was hard to fix "issues". examples:* took 24hrs to fix extra pillow.* broken window caused nightly noise.* broken window disabled AC.* intrusive (and early) cleaning person that always made us feel like being "in her way".local, but friendly "mom" trivialized our issues and we still paid full fee.would be the perfect place with some small service adjustments.

  peaceful and comfy!

  Nice studio, spacious and most importantly very clean. their facilities are in very good condition, beds are comfortable, and windows are equipped with mosquito nets. the owners provided us with a baby cot which was really handy. If I had to mention drawbacks, I would only say that the sun comes out from the door side of the room and the door is half glass, which means there's plenty of light in the room quite early in the morning. Also, the sun sets from the balcony side, which means that you can't really sit outside in the afternoon. it was ok for us as we spent all afternoon on the beach. All rooms have sea view, and you can even listen to the waves during the night, which was pretty relaxing. It's not far from the busy part of Plakias but it's a bit difficult to walk there if it's very hot outside (noon). free and good wi-fi in the room. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and so is the maid. All comes in a very reasonable price. If we visit Plakias again, we will definitely choose Albatros again.

  Albatros - our first choice

  For the fourth time we have stayed at Albatros studios, Plakias . We have lived in other studios in the same aera. We have no doubt . We prefer absolutely Albatros. The apartment is equipped with a very good kitchen, modern furniture, good beds, always clean. The bathroom is small, but functional. The terrace is nice with views to the sea and a beautiful garden. The garden is taken care of every night by " mother Manolis " . It is comfortable to stay at the terrace, because of shadow both in the morning and evening. AC and free Wifi, that works. Good parking in the backyard. Quiet location, yet within easy reach of beach and centrum .It's always good to get to Albatros. It is no more than 10 apartments in the building, and we always feel very welcome and expected. The small staff are very friendly. Best RegardsAnne & KaareNorway

  Tranquil with good views.

  We returned to Plakias in July after our last visits back in 1990 and 1994. So pleased we picked Albatros Apartments, everything lived up to expectation, it is in a quiet position with good views and is very clean (cleaned daily). Just a few minutes walk from the beach and the main part of the resort which has a number of excellent tavernas and bars. Right from our first enquiry, Manolis was very helpful and his family and MrsTania the cleaner were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our week. We would certainly stay here again when hopefully returning to Plakias.

  Quiet, very clean and with a view

  We have just spend a week in one of the studios at Albatros and enjoyed it very much. The building is just of the road into Plakias and has a nice garden at the front of the building. When turning left on the main road it takes no more than 10 minutes (walking) to reach the 'beach road' where all the tavernas, shops, car/motor bike rental companies etc. can be found. On the way to Plakias you will pass by the bakery (where you can have breakfast) & small supermarket.What we really appreciated was the cleanliness at Albatros: the studio was cleaned every day (including mopping the floor)! The bed linnen and towels are changed every 3 days. The interior of the rooms is fairly new as it has been completely renovated recently. We also noticed that the WIFI signal was the strongest when sitting on the balcony from where you have a great view towards the sea.The only negative point is that the immaculately clean bathrooms are on the small side. They have fitted a wash basin, shower and toilet in a very small room. Moving around is a bit of a challenge.
