    The hotel is located on a hill, so we had views of both the sea and the snowy mountains from our balcony. We were very warmly welcomed :)Both the room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. A delicious buffet breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were served. There's plenty of parking at the hotel. We were focused on sightseeing, so we didn't use the pool or loungers. Thank you to everyone at the Alexis Hotel for your hospitality; you're wonderful!

    Overall, it's OK and I recommend it. Unfortunately, our child got sick and we had to return after one night. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't want to agree on any refund for the remaining four nights. I didn't expect 100%, but at least some part of the three nights or breakfast.

    I really recommend this hotel. It is way more than 2-star hotel. Room was convenient, clean, with a great view, tv, fridge. Close to several beaches. All stuff was nice and helpful.     Great hotel,very clean and friendly staff.The only problem is you have to walk up a hill to reach the hotel.We booked transfers with Love holidays so not sure of transfer company.We were dropped late at night with luggage in the dark and told to walk up, same on pick up to airport.Would not recommend for elderly or disabled as steps to reception.You can get a taxi for 10 euro to the Venetian harbour or use the local bus.Nice restaurant for Breakfast or Evening meal.     Relaxing hotel within walking distance of the best beaches and Chania

    The hotel is located at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the ocean, beaches, Chania and the mountains. It is quiet and not too big so the service felt very personal. The beach is a quick walk downhill and - in the case of the Golden Beach - very shallow and safe.Our room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the balcony, too. An extra bed for our kid was provided quickly even though out travel agency had not passed on the request.The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the room was always turned out neatly by the chambermaids. Not easy when we brought back quite a bit of sand from the nearby beach!The breakfast buffet and lovely a la carte dinner made the stay truly memorable.
