    Good stay for one night before heading to airport.Room was clean and quite new. Pool area nice, the water not heated and bit dirty.Very lovely beach down the hill!!!

    All ground floor rooms are very dark. Number 24 should be kept as a storage room. The photos don’t reflect the real state of the hotel!The nice garden, pool with a view save the place but not when you stay for more than a couple of days!Cleaning in the room wasn’t good at all. Lack of staff! Some guests had babies and complained about the dirty floors. The smell in the bathroom was awful.Poor standard for breakfast. Always the same, no fresh fruit. Fresh orange juice welcome since coffee was bad. Other coffee charged €2:50.Many guests had to clean up their tables at breakfast and the floor was filthy since many families had babies eating there!Military and civil aircrafts fly over the hotel which is indeed very noisy.Beware! Taxis are expensive, better rent a car!An experience not to be repeated…

    Fabulous small hotel. Facilities excellent:comfortable beds, great pool, great bar, breakfast first class, location lovely, gardens are fabulous. The hosts Mimi and Tassos are extremely helpful. Handy for the airport and Chania. Local beach and Taverna within 100 yards. Hotel has its own beach access with ladder access. Highly recommended- stayed 4 nights in June 2024.

    We booked a short stay here to start our week long stay in Crete, and chose this location as somewhere to stay close to the airport. We received a warm welcome when we arrived (around 8.30pm and close to the end of the season) and we were shown to our room. The room itself was spotless and modern. Everything was provided for a self catering stay - I was pleased to see there were also mosquito plugs in the room! There was a good choice of buffet breakfast - including hot and cold options: eggs, bacon and beans; cereals; pastries yogurt and fruit. It is a short walk from Tersanas beach and around a mile to a nearby village if you want to visit tavernas close by (we liked Irene’s). Food is also served throughout the day here - we were told the kitchen closed at 9 but I believe this could be flexible by prior arrangement as we did see some people eating after. The two ladies running the apartments were friendly, chatty and helpful. This place is ideal if you have a car and want to explore, or if you want peace and quiet: there’s not a lot to do nearby but it’s so relaxing if that’s what you’re looking for!

    Arrived around 10pm, we were shown to our studio room promptly and told we could order some food if we came straight away, we ordered Souvlaki and Spag Bol which was plentiful and did the job. Our studio room was basic but clean and had everything we needed and a little outside terrace. Peaceful around the swimming pool and liked the padded sun loungers for extra comfort. There was happy hour at 5pm and the cocktails were of good quality. A lovely quiet area, with a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk (although you can access sea directly from hotel grounds) a further 5 minutes on you will find a supermarket, coffee shop and a few lovely tavernas, It was perfect for a two night stay fairly close to the Airport before we moved on to start our month tour around Crete.
