    Beautiful oasis of a property with elegant high ceilings and traditional furnishings. Lovely terrace for sundowners! So close to the main area for shopping and eating. Definitely recommended and I will visit again.

    Gem of a place with 360* views in the heart of the town

    This amazing apartment we found truly by chance! My friend and I needed a place to stay for the night as the road had been closed and we had our luggage with us. We managed to book this place and were pleasantly surprised. It is an absolutely charming place with high ceilings and beautifully decorated room to stay. Lots of open space too. It is located around the main strip and quick access to local shops too. Large room with a huge garden terrace. It is not for those who cannot climb stairs as there are a few flights of stairs but it is well worth the view. The staff were helpful. We had to call just to confirm how to enter the room but this was easily resolved. This room would suit a couple or friends.

    Somewhat misled by owner

    I had explained to the owner about my bad knee and how difficult steps were for me. She said there woud be one flight of stairs; this turned out to be 2 flights of steps. Had I known this was the case, I would have booked somewhere else. Room, though a reasonable size, was cluttered with furniture.

    Old style charm, but unbearable noise

    The Estate is conveniently located and has charm, for sure. We were given a large room, with access by a staircase to a backyard terrace. The problem is, the beautiful very high windows face a street which at any moment of the night can be terribly noisy, with frequent passages of loud groups of friends and at times of whole parties of screaming revelers. What has been particularly irritating for me is that in the month before our arrival I had called the structure a couple of times, stressing the importance for us of being given a quiet room - not necessarily a particularly large one! - and I had received a heartfelt guarantee that we would thus be settled, the room reserved for us being the one facing the back. This has not been the case, and so we ended up spending our two nights there in the worst sleeping conditions. Notice that the place does not have a reception service and so, after receiving the keys, upon our arrival, by a kind young lady, we didn't have the opportunity of seeing, and complain with, any member of the staff.
