    I'm not even sure where to start with this review......because my stay was so AMAZING!!!I read reviews before I came out and honestly thought they must be made up as surely no place can be this good,...I was wrong!!Marina, Yassos (on his moped is something to behold) and Angela could not do more than enough for you. Maria, who services the rooms is absolutely adorable. I met some great people whilst there who, as a single traveller, made the experience all the better and gave some great tips as to how to get around.Marina's cooking is something to behold, I asked for Chicken Souvlakis which were not on the menu and guess what,,,,Marina made them specially for me, they were then put on the menu and sold out!!! DO NOT miss out on the Stifado...delicious!The Friday BBQ is one not to be missed! At 13 euros, why would you not??I left feeling part of a big family and cannot wait to go back!Do not miss out on your chance to be part of this amazing, wider family that is Villa Marina :-)

    Perfect place for a quiet holiday!

    This was our second stay here. Our first time was on our honeymoon, over ten years ago. The family who own and run the villas are very very friendly and happy to help. The apartments themselves are minimal and do the job nicely. While they don't offer entertainment at night, other than music playing while you relax at the bar, they are situated a 10-15 Min walk from the beach and a short bus/cab ride into town. Staying there offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. People laying quietly by the pool during the day then chilling by the bar at night chatting. There was a very respectful vibe to the place. I've seen people complaining about the noise from air traffic and the nearby road. But I rarely noticed either to the point where it was an issue.Both our visits were really good and the people who run the villa practically treat us like family. Was a good vibe all round. Very pleasant.If you're looking to stay somewhere that's a bit busier and has a nightlife, I'd suggest staying somewhere closer to the beach. But if you just want to take things at your own pace, go exploring and come back to somewhere chilled to relax at night. This is the place for you. I'd recommend for single people, couples and families with children.

    From the moment we got to Villa Marina we were warmly welcomed by Thassos, Marina and Effie. I have never felt more warmly welcomed. Our room was lovely, spacious, with a generous balcony and sea view. Everything required for self catering was provided and the bathroom was great. We had clean towels almost daily, which wasn't really needed and bed linen changed every few days. The Villa is situated just off the main road but the traffic wasn't a problem at all. It was blissfully peaceful. The Garden, kept by Thassos was beautiful with home grown fruit and vegetables, which they shared with us. Marina and Thassos cooked every 3rd night or so and the food was excellent, delicious freshly home cooked and generous in amounts. Thassos and Marina are old school, warm, kind hearted and hardworking, lovely people, it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with them. Effie, who works there, is a beautiful lady, funny, warm hearted and kind. I wish I could have stayed all summer. I hope people appreciate what this hotel offers, laid back, peace in a beautiful setting with hosts who genuinely care about their guests. I hope to return sooner rather than later.     If you want a fancy room, this is not the place for you. The room was basic but had everything you need in, including air conditioning, from checking in and the owner introducing herself and her team to us to coming home the experience was amazing. It's family owned and run and they make you feel a part of that family, its hard to explain exactly how it feels, we normally go all inclusive around Europe and came here for a change and so glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing and especially on the nights they do specials, and great value for money. If you want a relaxing holiday where you are made to feel special and welcomed then this is the place for you
