    Adults only B&B Hotel , ok for a couple of nights, close to the beach , we booked for 2 weeks and we were given a room next to the road ground floor, so noisy if you don’t have ear plugs you won’t sleep , I spoke to a staff member after 5 nights, housekeeping had left the patio unlocked for a second time and that the noise in our room was horrendous n that the bin truck wakes me up flashing yellow lights and making a noise at 7am and I was wearing ear plugs , she was not really bothered , said I had a partial sea view good room( could hardly see the sea looked onto the car park n bushes n shops n apartments ) , offered me a room below the pool - we declined as the smell of cigarette smoke around the pool was worse than the car fumes on our balcony .

    Nice hotel but AVOID rooms 315 to 320

    This is a small family hotel. We stayed here for one week and our stay was fine. The hotel itself has a wonderful location, just one minute walk from the beach. There are a lot of restaurants and shops in the same street where the hotel is. In general the staff were very polite and nice. The breakfast was alright, although a bit repetitive- same things were served every morning. But that was still something we were able to handle. The problem was the room we got! It was a room directly under the swimming pool. like in a basement, and I must admit it is not a pleasant place for spending your vacation (obviously just the time in the hotel). There was a lot of moisture, damp, and stale air there was not a chance to breathe normally. After having a shower the whole room was like a sauna, because the window is too small and there is no air vent in the toilet. The air conditioning was working poorly, if working at all. We highlighted this issue to the hotel reception clerk and then again we spoke with our travel agency, and the local tour agent as well, but there were not able to switch our room. The reason and the reply we got was: it is fully booked! Very important to mention that this was a lie! There were guests who came a day or two after our arrival and they were also accommodated in rooms next to ours. Within a day or two they got their rooms switched. How is that possible if the hotel is fully booked?! Also nobody spoke to us again regarding our issue, or asked to reconfirm if everything was alright. That is not the right way to treat a customer!

    Clean and quiet hotel. Just for adults.25-70 years old, mostly couples. Good breakfast. Good transport connections and the beach right next door. I recommend. Greetings from Finland.

    Lovely quiet hotel with lovely staff

    Just come back from staying at Anita Beach. Lovely quiet hotel, the staff and owner couldn't have been nicer. Ideally placed for the beach, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets. The hotel is spotless, and a good variety is served at breakfast. If going back to Rethymno, we'd definitely stay here again.

    Lovely hotel stay 5 nights it was much better than I expected would happily go again. Beach at the end of the road lovely places to eat drink within minutes of hotel. Breakfast was great if you are a full English type of person it may not suit but I thought it was perfect. The resort was so clean felt safe at all times its about 20 mins walk to Old town I did go and have a look but to be honest I had everything I needed on my doorstep. Wonderful hotel and resort just book you won't regret it.
