  Very unpleasant experience

  Site clean, rooms basic, clean with good air conditioning. All ruined by a very unpleasant experience with a bar staff member who seemed to become very irritated when I inadvertently took a glass of drink from a vending machine without wearing a yellow wristband band. She shouted across the bar, “where is your wristband?” I was confused and asked if she wanted me to pay? She then marched me to reception and spoke to her manager in French. I asked her to translate what she was saying but was ignored. She then marched me back to the cashier at the bar and said in a loud voice, “are you paying for two?” I looked round and she was indicating to the only other black person in the room who was standing with his wife (who incidentally was white) and child. I asked why she thought we were together? To which she exploded and shouted, “I’m not a racist!”.I’m perplexed where all the anger came from?A very unpleasant embarrassing experience.I tried to raise this with the manager who waved me away and said I did not need to pay for the drink this time which was not the issue by then.I did not expect to be treated like this on holiday.I have written to SOWELL to complain about both the bar staff member and the manager. Le port du bracelet dans notre établissement permet d’identifier les prestations incluses dans chaque formule. Ce protocole s’applique strictement à tous, sans distinction. Lors de l’incident, notre collaboratrice a rappelé que les porteurs de bracelets noirs doivent régler leurs consommations, conformément au règlement. La confusion avec un autre client a donné lieu à une question de vérification courante en période d'affluence, sans aucune intention discriminatoire.Nous dénonçons fermement les accusations infondées, les propos agressifs et diffamatoires tenus publiquement, ainsi que la prise de photos du personnel, constituant une atteinte à la vie privée.Nous veillons au respect des règles et des personnes, et n’acceptons ni diffamation ni menace envers notre personnel.Nous restons ouverts à un échange, à condition qu’il se déroule dans un cadre respectueux et constructif.We have taken note of your feedback and wish to firmly clarify the facts. Wearing a wristband in our establishment allows us to identify the services included in each guest’s package. This protocol is strictly applied to everyone, without exception.During the incident, our staff member reminded you that black wristband holders must pay for their consumption, in accordance with the regulations. The confusion with another guest led to a standard verification question during a busy period, with absolutely no discriminatory intent.We strongly reject the unfounded accusations, the aggressive and defamatory remarks made publicly, as well as the taking of photos of our staff, which constitutes an invasion of privacy.We are committed to upholding both the rules and mutual respect, and we do not tolerate defamation or threats towards our team members.We remain open to discussion, provided it takes place in a respectful and constructive manner.

  Great location. Very comfortable accommodation. Nicely landscaped site with superb swimming pool. Excellent value for money. Booking and payment process wasn’t great. Long wait to get response to query over payment.   Great service and delicious food

  Booked for an overnight stop on our way to Juan les Pins, took a chance and booked an apartment. It was actually a small lodge in the grounds of a holiday village with a beautiful pool, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food for our evening meal.One of the best stops we’ve had during our road trip.
