Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2020. The hotel has a lift and features 66 suites. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service and a page service.     We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff was outstanding—everyone was friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help with anything we needed.The food was delicious, with generous portions and plenty of variety. We were also impressed by the pool area, which was spacious, beautifully maintained, and a wonderful place to relax.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning to return next year.     We came as a trio of friends for 5 days and had the absolute best time here. The amenities are great, food is amazing and the staff is the nicest you'll ever meet.     We had the best stay ever at Asterions. The facilities are amazing. Everything is brand new. We had the best room possible with roof top private pool with sea view. But what made the stay even more perfect was definitely the staff. Katerina was the best help ever, she booked all our restaurants in Xania and gave us the best recommendation. She was so sweet. At the bar, Roula made the best Bloody Mary and had the best energy Serios made the best frozen margarita. It was a real plus that Roza and Leónidas speak French. Kostas, Manolis & Argiro always had a great smile. Thanks for your services The food was behind, it is really not an all inclusive standard, for both the buffet and À la carte restaurants Do not hesitate one second. Best stay ever !     Perfect Honeymoon Destination

    If you are looking for a party hotel with pool aerobics and noisy entertainment then look elsewhere as this is not for you. If however you are looking for a beautiful, tranquil hotel then keep reading. After a lot of research we decided upon Asterion for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. We were slightly concerned that we were in the middle of nowhere but for our honeymoon where we wanted to enjoy what the hotel had to offer it was perfect. From the moment we were greeted upon arrival to leaving every single member of staff - from the cleaners to the management - had a smile and acknowledged you. Right our room - as it was our honeymoon we upgraded to a sea view room (room 303 - Universe). What can we say other than it was AMAZING - it was a very spacious room with a small terrace outside with stairs leading to a larger rooftop terrace and private pool. It was perfect. We were all inclusive and our fridge was replenished daily.Food - there is something for everyone. There was a good selection at breakfast. A very extensive al a carte lunchtime menu and evening buffet with the option of attending the Cretan al la carte restaurant - which you can book via the app. The food and service were exceptional and we were well looked after by Manilos and his team.Drinks - The cocktails were some of the nicest we have had - we think we managed to try out the whole cocktail menu! Plenty of options for beer, local wine and prosecco too. Again George and his team really looked after us.Poolside - the pool area was spotless and the loungers are the comfiest we have experienced. We understand they only arrived a week before our stay so we were very fortunate. Drinks at poolside can be ordered via the app and are promptly delivered. They request people not to reserve sunbeds but obviously some people still feel it necessary to do so. We can however say that we never encountered an issue as there are plenty of beds available.Beach - although we didn't spend much time on the beach it was very clean and raked each morning around the sunbeds. If you go towards the sea it is understandably very pebbly so sea shoes are a must.Spa - had a 70 minute treatment on our last day which was a really nice way to end our honeymoon before the journey home. Would highly recommend.Overall - we personally can't wait to return - the hotel and staff were beyond our expectations. We were so relaxed for our entire stay. Communication with the hotel before we arrived (with Yiannis) was exceptional (as we booked direct) and they arranged transfers etc for us. Another really nice touch is the fact that the management take the time to come and talk to you about your stay - you really feel like a valued guest. We would recommend going all inclusive due to the location of the hotel and for the quality of the food and drinks at Asterion. We are very surprised to read some negative reviews but we guess you can't please everyone!! We however look forward to returning.
