    We came to Rethymno to visit our daughter who is living there and chose Barbara Studios because the ratings were so high and we wanted to be nearby and in an authentic local environment. From the very beginning the experience was incredible, from the welcome email, to the WhatsApp message with Iro, the driver arranged by Iro pick us up at the airport to the cleanliness of the room, the friendliness and the location. We felt at home and are extremely grateful to have chosen this place to stay. Definitely recommend it when visiting Crete.

    Barbara studios is a family business which is very important to me..a combination of friendliness hard work and great hospitality...in the heart of the old town ,quiet cozy and confy it reminds you the oldschool way of spending your vacation in a place with personality and fun away from the boring colourless 5 star all inclusive hotels...support the local community... strongly recommend.

    No car needed to enjoy Old Town Rethymno

    Loved staying in our apartment in old town Rethymno. We could just walk outside our nice apartment and be right in "Old Town" where all of the shopping and dinning was located. Old Town is a pedestrian only area. Every night we would have a bottle of wine on our apartment's patio and talk about the day's highlights.Apartment was extremely clean and well taken care of. Iro - the manager, made sure everything was taken care including our rides to and from the airport.
