Location

Located in the beautiful and hospitable village of Gerani in the prefecture of Rethymno, this hotel is close to Camari Gorge with its legendary cave and crystal-clear waters, which are ideal for diving or fishing. The magnificent beaches of Episkopi and Petres are only 4 km from the hotel, and they have soft sand that stretches out onto a wide strip spanning almost 10 km. The centre of Rethymno and its Old Town are around 6 km from the hotel, the Venetian Castle is 15 km away, Arkadi Monastery is 30 km away and Chania is approximately 60 km from the hotel. Chania Airport is roughly 65 km away.

Facility

Units include 42 apartments and 23 studios located in a 2-storey main building and 6 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The apartment hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include room service and a laundry service. Guests can also use the bicycle storage facilities.

Rooms

    Brilliant hotel really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Decent selection of drinks at the bar. Pools clean and well maintained. Will return. Thanks very much Camari

    Absolutely beautiful place to stay, run by a lovely family who can't do enough for you, very clean, the food at the restaurant was beyond delicious, Camari gardens has everything you need and more, all the staff are friendly and kind and it's obvious they love their hotel and their roles, I would definitely recommend and I hope to return in the not too distant future, very affordable and close to a lovely village Gerani where there are lots of rustic authentic restaurants, should you want to dine elsewhere, there is a mini market on site.

    We have visited here many times and it is excellent this time was just as good. it is clean well maintained and the staff are wonderful. The food in the restaurant is so good with a lovely range in the nearby village the people are lovely and some lovely little restaurants if u fancy a little something different. Angela,Nico's and George are so accommodating I can't imagine my life B4 Camari gardens was in our holidays ❤️

    Wow!! I can totally see why people go back to Camari Gardens. I came across this place by chance after hearing amazing things about Crete, I wanted to find a decent hotel to experience the beautiful island. The reviews for here are astounding! The family that run this place work literally round the clock. They all have a genuine love and passion for the place. 6am the older guy cleaning the pool, scrubbing and emptying the drains etc....the brothers serving behind the bar all day, waiting on and checking on guests...the cousins working in their shop all day and then also helping at night. The mother in the reception ensuring all is running smoothly. Not once did I feel like it was just a job to them. I've not even mentioned the chef....my word!! WOW WOW WOW!! The chef is the ' auntie' and let me tell you....there was absolutely not a chance that any restaurant anywhere else around, could beat the quality/taste of the food. The best cooking I have ever experienced. I wanted to try everything. Who needs to get ready and go out when you have this superb cuisine right where you're staying. The people we met around the pool had all been before, some of them for years! The family that run it will do anything for you. I felt safe, welcome and very content staying here. Waking up to the sea view, the picturesque pool area and the sweet warm smells of holiday in the air. This place was absolute heaven. They worked so very hard here because they love their hotel, their business, family and most importantly their guests. Thank you Camari xx

    What can I say Camari gardens is like going home to see family, the moment you arrive your made to feel welcome. This is our 3rd year of going for 3 weeks and its hard to leave at the end. I can honestly guarantee once you go you will want to keep going back.
