    Celebrated my husband’s birthday at Corinna Mare in Chania and it was perfect! 🎂

    The infinity pool with sea views is stunning day and night. Facilities are impeccably clean, and the staff are so friendly and made us feel special for his birthday. We stayed in room 101 which was perfect.Great location too — we walked to other restaurants along the coast for birthday dinners, and the bus into Chania town stops nearby, which made day trips super easy.Between the sunrise swims, sunset birthday dinner/drinks, flowers around the property, and even the sleepy hotel cat, this place just feels special.Would 100% come back to celebrate again. Thank you for an unforgettable birthday holiday!

    What immediately sets this gem of a hotel apart is its suburban sea view setting with pool and loungers right on the water line with stunning land mass and distant Mountain views. Its location is on a city bus route and for car drivers free ample adjacent parking. About 15 minute drive into old town. Very helpful and super polite front desk. We had a garden view apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. Poolside snack food and cocktails were a delight. Cannot wait to comeback next year.     What a lovely place. Let’s get the bad bit out first. We booked to arrive at 00.30 on a specific. date. When we got there they told us we couldn’t check in until 13.00. That’s annoying especially when you are specific with your booking and have it in black and white so we had to pay an additional fee which we did and luckily the members of staff found a room that was prepared ( I say lucky which is wrong because we booked specifically but it was late and we did not to be left without accommodation).Now the good bits. What an absolutely fantastic place with beautiful rooms ,located next to the sea, with beautiful garden and a lovely swimming pool. The staff are excellent and want to ensure you enjoy your stay.     I don't know why anyone would stay here. Terrible service & terrible management. They are unwilling to work with you and try to take whatever money they can. There are a lot of great alternatives in area that I would recommend checking out first.     Corinna Mar is located on the beach front. It's a lovely setting. The views are lovely, especially at sunset. Two lovely pools and with access to the sea. Accommodation was superb. We stayed in a family maisonette. Great space. Food in the restaurant is lovely. All staff are very nice. Reception staff very helpful with local information. Sometimes tourists could be nicer and not be rude.There are lots of restaurants near to the hotel. Lidl is only 10 minutes away on the bus for those extras. The beach is 5 minutes away for a lovely swim etc. Or if you would like a long walk along the beach with some nice taverns to stop and relax. Overall fabulous hotel, great location and lovely people.
