Location

This hotel stands on one of the most beautiful streets in central Georgioupolis, just about 60 m from the beach. Located on an idyllic, green bay, this quiet, traditional village offers guests plenty of opportunity for shopping and entertainment. The property lies around 22 km from Rethymno town and 35 km from Chania. Chania Airport is about 35 km away.

Facility

5 apartments and 67 double rooms are available to guests in a 4-storey main building and 5 auxiliary buildings. In the air-conditioned hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Services and facilities include a safe, an alarm call service, a page service, a hotel doctor and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A welcome gift awaits guests. Guests can relax and enjoy the sun loungers and parasols provided. Tennis, crazy golf and fishing are organised by third-party operators. With aquafit or, for a fee, canoeing, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including darts and aerobics or, for a fee, a gym. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments, anti-ageing treatments and a solarium. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children (no extra charge).

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at 2 restaurants (a buffet, air conditioning and high chairs). Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Special meals, including vegetarian dishes, are also available. The hotel also offers snacks.     Everything was a 5 star experience! The Staff super friendly, helpful, surprised our twins with 2 cakes on their birthday! The food BEST ever, my favourite place for food so far! Very clean, amazing views, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Fantastic hotel with even better staff. I’ve never been to a hotel with more friendly and helpful staff across the entire hotel, including the restaurants, cleaning staff, reception and in particular the animation girl, Amber. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

    This is not the first time we stayed in this hotel, we always stay in Corissia beach specifically (never stayed in Corissia Princess or Corissia Harmony so I can’t say my thing about them). Great service like always, the rooms are clean, love the variety of food especially during dinner. I love how close the hotel is to the beach and the garden in Corissia park is great. Also, much love to our animator friend Amber. Hope to see you next year.

    Me and my husband stayed here in September and October and enjoyed our holidays as per usual. Cleaning staff is great, lovely ladies. AMBER (the animation girl) did great job entertaining us, she is crazy but a lot of fun!

    We recently stayed in the family apartment at the Corissia Beach Hotel. First off there are free transfers to and from the airport! This was so convenient and fantastic. The cars were clean and they provided water. The apartment is in a building just up the street from the main hotel. The family room is actually 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies which was lovely. The rooms are quite spacious. The rooms have a safe and refrigerator and two wardrobes. There was no iron and the storage space for clothing was quite limited. More drawers or hangers were needed to store everything. On the plus side there was a dryer rack outside with clothes pins to dry swimsuits and hang towels. This is quite important as replacement beach towels are not free. This hotel charges to swap beach towels! After a week stay to be told we had to pay to swap towels was just not acceptable. The rooms itself was clean but daily housekeeping was hit or miss. Also the housekeeping put cute shapes on our bed using a sheet but it happened to be the sheet for the bed so we were forced to make our beds daily as the sheet wasn’t on the bed - it was made into a bow. It was a minor inconvenience and odd. Also the room showed signs of wear and tear. There were bugs on the walls and dirt in crevices that are harder to clean. The air conditioning was leaking and not working when we arrived and the hotel came and fixed it the following day. The first night was quite warm. On another occasion there was a smell coming through the drains to our apartment and again they resolved it quickly- within a day. The beach and pool were beautiful and the service and price for items at the pool and beach were reasonable. All chairs are included and filled up by about 10:30 or so. The beach was quite clean as was the pool. The good at the restaurant was quite good and plentiful. It did cater to German tourists as many of the signs were in German. In fact we noticed that most of the people staying here are German tourists. The grill station was great! I wish there were more Greek dishes but all in all I liked the food. My only complaint is that water and soft drinks are not included. I had a half board (breakfast and dinner included) reservation and to be charged for water felt like a money grab. These things should be included. I understand excluding alcohol but water and soft drinks or juice doesn’t make sense. I would prefer the room and board be slightly more expensive but include these items. We had a lovely stay at the Corissia Beach hotel but would likely not stay again unless they changed the drink policy at dinner and the towel policy. It just left a bad impression.
