  A simple and functional room close to everything

  Basic hotel, but close to the beach and a 15-minute walk to the city and the bus station. Good restaurants on Rantakatu and cheaper prices than in the center of Chania. Thursday morning market in Nea Hora. Bus 20 to the center and 1.10e tickets from the supermarket next door, car 2e. Bakery and patisserie next door.The beach can be windy, but closer in several places there are sheltered rocks that stop the biggest waves. Beach chairs 8e or under the trees in the shade. On the left is a large local beach without services. Walking route in the direction of Agii Apostoli beach. There was a fun fair at the weekend.Hotel room very basic, but functional. Only the shower needs improvement, because the water stays on the floor. Limited hot water at times. Poor sound insulation. Air conditioning for an additional fee of 60e/week. Refrigerator with freezer compartment. Own kettle included, got instant coffee. Coffee is also sold in the bakery and iced coffee in the Market. A couple of car rental companies nearby. Alta Kantanou-katu had a really good experience.Balcony facing the evening sun. Bed quite hard, good pillow. Cleaning included dusting, taking out the garbage and washing the floor every day.   A good apartment only 15-20 minutes walk from Chania old town. Supermarket on the other side of the road. Beach only a few steps away. Clean and spacious apartment, adequately equipped. Small balcony to Seloinou street and a huge one to Ouelingkton street. Plenty of restaurants nearby! Lovely personnel!
