    Promises so much but falls short

    I'll start with the good. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower was wonderful. The king-size bed is also worthy of praise. What's not so good was how noisy the room was. The ceiling wasn't there in the conventional sense, it was just the joists and then the floorboards of the room above, which meant that any movement upstairs was very loud. You also need to be aware that finding the entrance and getting checked-in can be a challenge. If you get a shuttle bus from the airport it will drop you in the general area of the hotel, but to find it you'll need Google Maps, or similar, and then be surprised to discover the hotel's entrance is tucked away around the back of the building. Once you've found it you then realise there's no reception desk. You now need to find the sister hotel - the Elia Bettolo Hotel as that's where you check-in and also where breakfast is served. Fortunately, it is just across the street. Another thing to note is that the tea and coffee options are taken care of via a 'pod' system. On the face of it all good. Except for the fact you only get two coffee pods and once you've used those you're expected to pay for any extras.

    Let’s start with the ups shall we.1. Clean2. Supermarket right next door3. Location was pretty goodDowns 1. Unstaffed .. I was traveling alone and coming home at night was a bit scary . Also no one to ask questions to however they have a sister hotel just down the road so if you needed anything they were helpful2. It’s kind of tucked away and so at night your walking thorough and empty parking lot with locals . Usually drunk men just hanging about in packs. Traveling alone this is a little off putting for me

    Ants all over the bed! I was sleeping fine until I felt what feels like these tiny pitches all over my body. I tried to see the source where they were coming from but no dice. Mediocre service and really bad experience for luxury suites!

    Very cozy and clean room. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is the perfect location in the old town. It isn’t very loud at night and also in the heart of the old town. An amazing stay.

    If you wanna stay in a comfy and spacious room this is the place! Clean and cosy in the heart of the old town! Healthy breakfast buffet with Mediterranean tastes! Stayed twice within 2 months between a business trip. Staff in Betolo hotel..just 2 minutes walk..where you get the key.. is excellent!
