  Honest Review - A little long 😀

  Room 5☆. We were lucky to get one of the new rooms, really nice.Pools 4☆. Great pools, never to busy but would say the "Shallow End" of pool in water park a little to deep for small children. Slides although only 4 was plenty and good fun.Food 3☆. Breakfast a little samey and almost always a little cold. Also could do with more variety. Like continental options. Lunch always found something. The snack bar in watermark, could have opened longer or at least had snacks between other restaurant opening times. Was a little disappointed that other 2 restaurants didnt have kids options, as this limited us and other we spoke to from going, esp if you have fussy kids.Sports/games facilities 3☆. Very small football/basketball/Volley ball - they have limited space but could be worked much better as space not utilised as well as could, shed with broken games, broken pool table etc not really serving a purpose.Animation team - cant even give a star. Didn't ever come rnd pools etc to encourage people to get involved (unless french) seem to be just sitting around a lot chatting to each other.Overall 4☆ the hotel is generally really good, the views are stunning, location although on a hill easy walk into Elounda. Very clean and staff are generally really nice. Elounda really nice all along the coast, restaurants a little small for the amount of people, I am sure the busier months would be a little hectic. Just a few tweaks to facilities would improve it overall.

  We have had a lovely time here. The rooms are so fresh and clean. Regularly refilled tea and coffee items and a fridge. Beds are so comfortable. The pools and general areas are very clean. The food is extremely good and we all enjoyed trying lots of new things. We didn't need to speak with staff much, but when we did they were friendly and helfpul. Beautiful views over Elounda from the balconies and the restaurant and bar areas. Our daughters loved the pools. Can't fault anything, to be honest. The only thing to mention is that, as it states on the site, it is built into a hill so if you don't like steps or struggle with them, then it isn't the place for you. For us, this was fine because it meant the great views mentioned. We would definitely come back here. Definitely try Almyros beach (12 mins away) if you have a car; you can park right at the side of the beach and walk into it. Beautiful place. The water is clear and shallow for a while so it's great for little ones. Suns beds are only €10 for a pair. Really sad to be checking out.

  Lovely views.clean hotel freezing pool and food was cold every meal time

  Pros... massive complex golf buggy that takes you up to your room when ever you want it stays outside reception so you can ask for it anytime to pick u up or just get up the hills,Food.. enormous selection from hot meats,fish,chicken nuggets chips pizza pasta sauces ect massive salad selection with everything you can ever want and amazing choice of puddings.they have oils,herbs,spices you can help yourself too. And lots of bread selection. Just as much for vegetarian as meat eater. Wine, beer,water and fizzy drinks you help yourself too.same for lunch and dinner breakfast has omelette eggs sausages bacon ect as well as salad. Rooms and holtel including pool are spotless. You get pool towels provided so no need to pack yours. Manager Pablo is lovely and kind and enthusiastic of his hotel 3 restaurants sunlounges are really comfortable and looked after.Cons.... pool is freezing even in the sun and it was hot weather. Food always cold even when first open. Free bus to town however drops off and picks up onto of the steepest longest hill ever! So we got taxi back up to hotel €8. Not suitable for unfit or disabled people as complex pure hills everywhere. Full of kids all the time even though the water park is separate no English there there was us and I think 3 other couples mainly Russian Germans and French. And yes they are very rude! Elounda is lovely but small not alot to do. Receptionist rude 98% of the time... most staff are friendly but the odd ones dont bother talking to u if your English. Bar staff are lovely serving cocktails and mocktails raki and ouzo beer and soft drinks. Coffee machine available all the time plus kettle in rooms aswell as hairdryer. Marble floors in rooms very slippy when wet.. and rooms over bar are very noisy at night. All in all we enjoyed our 10 day holiday 😀 its up a mountain so views are beautiful from hotel.

  The hotel is beautifully located, with a view of the sea and mountains from our window. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. The money left out in the open was untouched, nothing went missing, and the cleaning lady even found my earring, which I didn’t realize I had lost. The food was tasty, and everyone could find something they liked. The water in the pools was salty and refreshing, but the children didn’t mind at all. If we return to this area, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it.   Not recommended if you're English, have children In pushchairs or reduced mobility

  I want to give as much information as possible as there are not many reviews on this hotel and I feel like maybe its changed names and got bigger... we are an English family and go on 2 x all inclusive holidays a year. Booked a family holiday here, 2 small children (pushchair age) 6 adults. The hotel has lovely views and it offers a golf buggy but it still has LOADS of steps and lots of them are dangerous as they don't have hand rails. You WILL have to carry pushchairs up and down stairs which is dangerous, it has a metal slope by the small pool which is slippery and has some black tape to stop people slipping but it isn't great. But consider this not the hotel for you if you have mobility issues or a pushchair. Elounda is a gorgeous place and i really reccomend it but not this hotel! This hotel is french, we were even informed this on our first morning by the manager. Which did make us a bit like, oh okay!?!. The manager was kind and polite to us but I think it should clearly state on booking that this hotel caters to french. The animation team didn't speak to us or interact with my children once and walked past all English people, although they were hardly ever seen in my opinion. The entertainment is non existent, no club dance, no holiday dancing and singing vibes, a kids disco for 20 mins then one entertainment thing per evening like karaoke or quiz... really nothing special or fun and all in french! The hotel restaurant had a greek night on Wednesday this was fantastic singing and dancing. Pool by restaurant is quieter but idylic and great views, beds are comfy. Water is salt not clorine but we got used to this. Floats are allowed and has a small kids pool which was great. Downstairs pool busier, water slides and kids pool was great and loved by all. Basketball and football courts were great. Mini golf was terrible and run down. Kid's playground was terrible, we laughed at how awful it looked. Equipment old and broken the soft play was the smallest, outdated softplay ive ever seen and all equipment disgustingly dirty. One day we went and found some wooden planks with screws hanging out them lying on the kids playground floor and when we showed an entertainment man he just shrugged his shoulders so my husband binned them. This hotel is not easy to get around. Although there is a golf buggy this only takes you to rooms. The pool bar is up 3 flights of steps and then no handrails when going down which is awful for a child friendly hotel. I saw lots of people/children tripping and falling. I couldn't relax with this especially with the hard floors. I even saw one lady with a broken leg! Pool bar lady - was very kind and happy and smiley. Paul on the check in desk and another older man who worked over night both lovely people. Other staff - terrible service! Buggy man looked like he hated his job and like you were hassling him to drive you. Woman working in al a carte rolling eyes and slapping down dinners like it was a school canteen. Highchairs (which are limited) you are expected to drag them to your table yourself and staff will watch you and not help. No smiles on interactions from staff. We spilt a drink and the bar man raised his arms as if to say 'i dont care' and didnt clear it up. The food is really not great. It's very similar every day. A big thing for me was no hand sanitizer on the way in and so people were touching things without washing hands. This is an illness outbreak waiting to happen! Lots of food wasn't labelled, this is basic! Morning breakfast is all very cheap and the sausages and bacon was not good. This place is missing 'live food stations' all food is cooking and put in hot dishes but the food was never hot, all of us found this. To the point the pizza was stone cold one day as if it had been pre cooked and put in a fridge. Every hotel we have ever been to usually has a chef cooking something 'special' for that evening. The mornings making personal flavoured omelettes etc. the chef here was just cooking a few bits to top up the food that was already out. It really lacked the excitement of seeing what would be on offer. Beer was good and 8 choices of cocktails which were all okay, usual all inclusive flavours but we were happy with this. A la carte were exactly the same as going to main restaurant only difference was they served you a drink, but you had to ask for the drink they definitely didn't serve you or make you feel like you were in a restaurant. The hotel is not 4 star at all. Save your hard earned money and go else where. We paid £1,150 for 4 of us as a last min holiday so we cannot complain on that fromt but I would not recommend this hotel. Elounda is gorgeous though so find a better hotel here.
