    Good size apartment, equipped with everything you need. Hair Dryer (Shampoo, Shower gel. Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Shavers, Sponges and Night masks all provided). Iron available at reception, they kindly let us hold onto it for the week (they must have a few)We quickly realised that we had no washing up liquid and sponges to wash the pots, we went out to buy some that evening but by the time we got back the cleaners had already washed all the pots which was really lovely of them! They done a fab job everyday! Location was great, plenty of shops/restaurants near by. Can get the public bus into Chania from the main road (On the right, on the opposite side of the road, the first public bus stop, before Lidl) 2euros 20 each (roughly a 30 min ride) the bus runs every 30 mins, last bus back to Platanias is 11pm. You get off at the bus station(it’s the last stop).Lidl 10 minute walk away. CrossFit gym around a 5 minute walk away. Getting to/ from the airport- you can get the public bus from the airport to Chania bus station and from Chania bus station to Platanias. Less than £5-£6 all together per person. They accept card payments on the bus. You get the bus from the same bus stop as above to get to the airport. (Platanias-Chania Bus station- Airport). If you’re arriving after 10pm at night your best bet would be a taxi, they charge roughly between £48-£60. They are waiting outside the airport. ( they accept card payments) You can prebook your taxi back to the airport from any taxi stand in Platanias.There is only a few sunbeds around the pool, they get filled quick. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach (it’s a pebbly one). There’s a charge of 8 euros for 2 beds.We didn’t try the food so I can’t comment on that. Overall happy with my stay. All the staff were lovely and the location was great.

    I don't recommend this place. We booked and paid extra with a promise of a view to the sea that was OK but paid extra for sunshine all day. The balcony sits on the ground floor with people beside you and no sun. The staff are very cold and not friendly. I'll say no more as it was a mess of a well deserved vacation. I'll leave a photo of the balcony we paid extra for sunshine all day. Eventually moved to another suite.. Its just a heads up for anyone looking for sushine on your balcony.

    Really nice place. Beach is nice. Also the restaurant by the beach is really good. Good service and food is great. The hotel is really peaceful.
