Location

The hotel is about 600 metres from Hersonissos on the north coast of the island of Crete. It is just 100 m away from Star Water Park. Bars, nightlife, links to public transport and shopping opportunities can be found in the immediate vicinity. It is 25 km east of Heraklion International Airport, while the resort of Agios Nikolas is some 40 km away.

Facility

Guests are warmly welcomed at the reception desk in the lobby. 545 non-smoking rooms are available. The holiday village provides a safe, a newspaper stand, a TV room, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance and a conference room. Internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay in touch while on holiday. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can relax and enjoy partial sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Many units feature a sea view, which creates a particularly lovely ambience. Rooms include a double bed. Children's beds can be provided at no extra charge upon request. A desk and, for a fee, a safe are also available. Features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone and a television with satellite/cable channels are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer.

Sport

Guests can swim few lengths or just float around in one of the 4 saltwater and freshwater pools in the outdoor area. There is also a special swimming area for little ones. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The pool bar serves a selection of refreshing drinks. Outdoor sports available at the complex include volleyball or, for a fee, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball and crazy golf. Water sports offered include aquafit, and water skiing is available for a fee. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example table tennis and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards and darts. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a beauty salon and massage treatments, are offered for a fee. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme (for a fee).

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a non-smoking restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. All-inclusive is offered as a catering option. Special extras for all-inclusive holidaymakers include, for example, alcoholic beverages, gluten-free meals and vegan food. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. The complex also offers snacks. Non-alcoholic beverages are available.

    Broken beds with cheap mattresses..we wanted to sleep on the floor due to the quality of the mattresses. Tiny room for 4 people.The shower drain somehow got blocked everyday so we tried avoid showering as the whole toilet floor will be wet. The stuff was rude and not friendly or helpful at all. The check in and check out was a long thing for no reason. Horrible food as well, paid for an all inclusive hotel and ended up eating out atleast lunch or dinner to survive. No wifi in the rooms and lighting was really bad.Worst holiday ever, will never go back to this hotel.

    The food was terrible. Noisy, but it is understandable, you do share it with children. Nice little natural "pool", good massage, a lot of sunbeds available. For children probably good, but food and personnel in the kitchen... you are there just to annoy them. Nice service in reception. Airconditioners are available for extra charge. Room was not clean and almost everything was broken. Cleaning staff starts very early and very loud - although they put up signs for customers "be polite to others and try to be quiet". You would think it goes for personnel too. But no. They start cleaning and yelling to eachother from across the hall. Pool bar offered wine, ouzo and something brown. Everything undrinkable, most of it you can use for fuelling something or clean the pipes in the toilet.

    Worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Awful from start to finish. Staff are rude, hotel is dirty, rooms are dirty, didn’t even attempt to try the food as everyone was saying how disgusting it is. Couldn’t get a sun lounger, so we went next door to star beach every day which was much better with friendly staff and a great environment so if you have made the mistake of booking this horrific hotel, I highly recommend going next door. The only plus to this hotel is the location, it’s by far the worse hotel in the area. I wouldn’t let my dog stay here. I don’t know how it is still running and I definitely don’t know how it’s a 4 star hotel, it needs shutting down or a renovation with new staff it’s awful. If you’re thinking of staying here then don’t save your money for a better hotel that actually deserves 4 stars. It’s atrocious. I don’t know how anyone is rating this anything above a 1 star. If I could rate it zero stars I would

    Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. I am here. I paied a lot of money and I will go home because is not possible to stay in this place. No wi fi in the room, in the bath only a tiny soap. For air conditioning they asked to payment 4 euro per day, in order to have AC in the room. The food , hooooorible. And only some potatoes and some unappealing meat , the cakes dry and without taste. The staff extremely , omg very rude. Everithing is broke, the furniture and the curtains torn.They should be closed , not permitted to receive guests. If someone read this : close this hotel.

    great experience, bartender Chara is amazing the best person you can meet at the Eri-beach hotel, the atmosphere at the bar is amazing, i am hoping to get back there, hotel is great, view from the bar is amazing
