    MASSIVE SCAM.

    rating08 Aug 2024

This hotel is CRIMINAL. The website we booked said it included hotel transfer, all of the people on reception confirmed it, they assured us that someone would be waiting on the aiport for us, until we actually arrived and there was NOBODY. They then told us their driver had an issue and we should get here ourselves. We paid €70 out of pocket, and we were NOT reimbursed throughout the whole time here. The same thing happened with the transport back - we were told there will be a car waiting for us at 4, and at 4.30 they told us that there's no car coming and we should pay €80 for the taxi. We almost missed our flight. This is just the bottom of a pitfall of terrible experiences with this hotel. We will not be coming back and we hope no one else has to go through this bad experience. It's much more expensive and offers NOTHING compared to other places in this area. They even have put pictures of a pool from a different hotel, advertising it as theirs. When we talked to the manager trying to resolve the transport issues, we realized that this whole place is a MASSIVE SCAM.

    Nice little budget hotel

    rating17 Jul 2024

First of all, the last 3 reviews posted on this hotel are not of this hotel!! Not sure how they ended up on this page. This hotel is basic and very clean. Please don’t expect 5 star luxury for your 2 star bucks and you won’t be disappointed. There are no internal rooms, they either have a pool view ( of next doors pool, the Side Star Beach) or a street view, which we had but as we were on the 5th floor, we also had a see view. As far as I can tell the only dodgy rooms are the ‘eaves’ rooms up on the 6th floor which you will get if you book a ‘promo’ room…. So be careful at point of booking. I booked with TUI and got what I booked, side sea viewAll the staff encountered were fab, very friendly, but I always find if you are friendly with them this is then reciprocated. Bar staff/waiters all worked very hard, sometimes they were pulled off to work next door which left us short. Omelette man in the morning was a little dear, appears grumpy at first but again smile with him and he will smile back and made a fab omelette to boot.If you are a fussy eater and want to be catered in UK style, don’t go here! I was fine, beautiful salads and stews and every lunch/dinner would be fish/meat/poultry on the grill. Bit too much mackerel and turkey for my liking, but also had tuna, chicken etc. some of the cakes were a bit tasteless, but the walnut brownie was lushDrinks were quite limited under AI. Beer, raki, vodka & gin. Coffee machine and juice(apple/cherry/orange)machine were help yourself and on all day. And you get your fizz/soft drinks from the barAfter reading the reviews here I was really worried, but needlessly! For what we paid more than happy with what we got. If you want plush, double your cost per person and go there!

AVOID THIS HOTEL LOOK ELSEWHERE !

    rating15 Jun 2024

Arrived 4am room allocated was just that smelt of dampness and a 2x2 window leading into a passage way, had to pay 120€ to upgrade with balcony. Room was clean bed very hard, stepped out onto the balcony to be met by 12 industrial air conditioning units going 24/7 from the hotel next door constantly., I think they offer this type of room to most knowing they would upgrade at your expensive, No tea coffee making facilities in room had to wait till breakfast / restaurant was open.Water was left in the room by cleaners and if you don't use them after 4 days they take them away !Food was not good some meals where made up with leftovers from the night before, chips wedges for breakfast...no thank you and cereal was stale. Some bar staff where realy nice but was bothered by barmaid every night in lobby bar who googled translated to me " I serve you drinks all week I deserve a reward /tip" (I was all inclusive) I tip who I like when I like as I had done all week but was so fed up I ended up booking another hotel for a few nights as I was fed up of being harassed.DRINKSvodka larger raki or wine everything else you had to pay for. They limit you to 1 icecube per drink and even ran out of ice on afew occasions, decided to buy my own alcohol and mixer and ask for ice I was refused on many occasions. The hotel had a power cut when we stayed there and although it was resumed in 1 hour our passageway to our room remained in total darkness for 5 days /nights.Found it caters for German and Russian people ,I found the Russian people rude towards us. I'd rate this hotel 2 to 3* at most will not use again there's better hotels out there on our stay most people were aged between 40-70.Entertainment was pool noodle exercise in the morning and out of 10 night stay 1 night of Turkish dancers on stage in the evening for 1 hour.Other surrounding hotels with all there music playing all competing to be heard. Not a restful stayI'd give this hotel 2 out of 10 couldn't fault the cleaning of the hotel shame they couldn't improve on everything else.

    Not for me

    rating08 Jun 2024

This hotel is not a 4 star ,more like a 2-3 star, the room we were allocated was in the middle of hotel with no natural light ,a window which looked out at a wall ,asked to be moved but had to pay, wifi is only free in loby , had to pay if wanted it in other parts .The food was ok but not a lot of variety on hot section, lots of salads and cheeses ,the deserts although lots to choose from ,they all tasted the same ( to me ) not a lot of fruit variety just apples oranges watermelon and grapefruit. The pool was big enough but not a lot of space around it for sun beds for the amount of people in the hotel.Would I go back to this hotel ? No there is much nicer places around for the same money so please look around

    Average to bad

My husband and I visited here for a weeks break booking a standard double room.We arrived at 6am in the morning after long delays .. we felt tired and needed a shower and a bed !!! We booked in and we’re shown to our ‘room’ the porter opened the door and made a quick exit .. we walked into this ‘room’ which only had one light bulb so it was dim and gloomy. First thing we noticed was there was no outside space just a small window .. we opened the curtains to let in some light to be greeted by the passageway and other room doors !! We couldn’t believe it the room was damp and had bad staining in the corner and it smelled very musty .. we immediately went back to the lobby and asked for another room and we’re told room changes happened at 10am .. so we then had to sit in the lobby until we saw the manager at 10… The manager said the room we had booked was a ‘promo’ room and that’s what we were given. At no point during the booking process with Thomas Cook was Promo mentioned .. Eventually after a long debate and paying an extra €75 we were shown to another room with a large balcony overlooking the pool which was great had king size bed complimentary slippers and water in the fridge .. we walked out onto the balcony to be greeted by a rotten smell baring in mind the temperature was rising rapidly looked to our right to be greeted by the hotels rubbish bins which were overflowing with rotten food etc at least 20 extra bags on the floor and rancid food all over the place ..We didn’t enjoy our stay here at all, on the whole three hotel is clean and tidy. The staff are quite nice but the hotel mainly caters for Eastern European clientele not UK ones we were the only English speakers there. The All inclusive was terrible with terrible food breakfast mainly consisted of recycled vegetables and chips from the previous night, hard boiled eggs, warm melon and revolting cheeses and meats which were inedible. And the evening meals were again awful basically a load of slop and the meat served was just reshaped and put out again the food was truly awful for the English palate. Nothing was marked up explains what it was in the trays and sauces in big bowls were not marked as to know what they were. There was a breakfast chef cooking omelettes who was not user friendly at all not acknowledging the people before him and was obviously not happy to be there. Drinks we warm , ice was never kept cold so almost water in your drinks, flat mixers were the were kept without lids on .. the air conditioning in the lobby was not working efficiently and made load clonking noises continuously.. there were reps from holiday companies there all day everyday selling trips to their clients so very load Russian and German voices very loud for most of the day..staff were very friendly to everyone except us we felt we weren’t welcome..We couldn’t wait to leave..
