Location

The club resort is close to the fishing village of Bali, just 30 km from the ancient city of Rethymnon. The beach and bus station are roughly 1.5 km from the resort. It is 45 km from “Nikos Kazantzakis”, Heraklion International Airport.

Facility

The property includes 3 villas/houses as well as 65 rooms, including 12 suites, 3 single rooms and 47 double rooms. At this holiday village, which includes a lift, guests are warmly welcomed by the English- and German-speaking staff. A check-in/check-out service is available at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby round the clock. Amenities available at the complex include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Rooms

Air conditioning and adjustable central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the mountain view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Sport

Guests can strike a healthy balance between exercise and relaxation in the indoor pool or in one of the 5 outdoor pools. The freshwater pool area is heated in part and also includes 2 children's pools. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee). A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. The holiday village offers a variety of outdoor sports, including basketball. For a fee, guests can also enjoy tennis and horse riding. Indoor facilities and activities also include a gym and table tennis or, for a fee, billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a hammam, a beauty salon and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music and a casino.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options.

    We had the best trip here over at filion. The family suites were incredible and the village was great. The food was so good and we had the best time. The views were incredible and honestly can’t wait to book again and come back next year.

    Very nice, quiet hotel up in the hills away from Bali beach. The hotel itself is very nice, we were given two of their new rooms that had an extremely comfortable superking-size bed and a single bed and a bathroom with both a shower and separate bath. The rooms were serviced every day with fresh towels by a really friendly member of housekeeping.We were on an all-inclusive package which allowed us all our meals, snacks and local wines, beer, spirits and soft drinks. The restaurant was self-service buffet at all meals. While it wasn’t Michelin-star level of food, we found it perfectly fine and really enjoyed the local dishes.The bar had snacks available throughout the day and was close to two of the pools, with another pool down another level, all with sun loungers and parasols. There was also a pool table, table-tennis, gym, tennis court and basketball hoop on site.The hotel had a free shuttle bus down to their sister hotel at Bali Beach, where you could avail of their sun loungers and parasols right on the beach.This was our first time visiting Crete and my family and I just had the best time; we genuinely would recommend Filion suites - we found the staff so warm, helpful and welcoming, and we had no issues with the hotel services and accommodation.
