Location

This complex of villas is located in Koutouloufari, a quaint and traditional hilltop village on the island of Crete, east of Heraklion. The holiday village is situated approximately 1 km from the town of Hersonissos with its port and gorgeous beaches. Guests will find shops in the immediate vicinity, while the town of Malia is around 5 km away and the capital Heraklion and Heraklion International Airport (“Nikos Kazantzákis”) are both approximately 25 km away.

Facility

The holiday village was modernised in 2025. The complex has a lift and features 57 suites. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service and a laundry service. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the queen-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The complex has 57 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym. A wellness area with massage treatments is available at the complex.

Meals

Dining facilities include a non-smoking restaurant, a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The holiday village also offers special catering options. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Galaxy service at Galaxy Suites

    Lovely renovated boutique hotel out of the main town, and that suited us. The staff were just amazing and looked after everything we needed. The ones to call out for specific praise are; Maria and 'shy' George, both amazing and funny and sorted all our bar needs. I'd also mention Nalalia who was helping out from another hotel, always prompt and chatty at breakfast, and Stefanos at the pool, serving drinks and doing the odd magic trick ! We miss them already.

    I don’t normally post on here but after my recent stay at Galaxy suites I felt the need to post about this amazing hotel and the experience my partner and I had . Everything was excellent, the rooms , the service and the whole experience was outstanding. If you want a dream stay in a beautiful Greek village at an amazing hotel then this is the plan ….. well done Galaxy Suites you have nailed it .

    My husband and I stayed here for 5 days for our Anniversary.This is in a perfect location! Many beautiful restaurants within walking distance. Nikos the fisherman was our favourite place.mini supermarket, car rental, sports bar on your doorstep. All the staff were amazing, stefanos at the pool always helpful and happy. Evaggelia was amazing we loved her. Such a kind heart.All the reception staff are great.This hotel is so chilled and quiet. In pristine condition. So pretty.The room was insane We had a private pool with our room. Lost the sun about 4 ish(may) on our sunbeds but the pool gets it all day. Which was lovely floating around on our lilo.We had such magical time here and will never forget this experience. The people of crete are amazing.My only down side was breakfast, great variety but hot food is cold! Still edible but could be better I think maybe a small order breakfast menu, would make this situation better. So you get a hot breakfast. This is the only downside but I would still give this hotel 5 stars, great value ❤️Until we meet again.     Beautiful Hotel with superb staff who are the most helpful and pleasant that I have ever encountered.From the manager to the cleaners everyone was so very nice .Excellent food served with a smile .Rooms well presented ,spotlessly clean .Pool areas has lots of very comfortable sun beds .     We had a truly wonderful stay at Galaxy Suites. It is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the slower rhythm of Cretan life.The hotel is ideally located: close to the charming village of Koutouloufari, with its many tavernas and peaceful picturesque atmosphere, while the more lively and touristic coastline remains easily accessible within a pleasant 10-minute walk.The suites are spacious, elegant and extremely comfortable. Relaxing in the jacuzzi under the stars after a full day exploring Crete was simply unforgettable. Even the cosmetic products provided in the room were of excellent quality and showed great attention to detail.The food was another highlight of our stay. The à la carte dishes were fresh, generous and beautifully prepared, while the buffets offered a wide variety of options and remained consistently delicious throughout our holiday.The gym is compact, but perfectly functional for maintaining a workout routine during your stay.What truly makes this hotel special, however, is the atmosphere created by the staff. The service feels warm, genuine and almost familial...we quickly felt at home here.A special thank you to Maria and Stefano for their incredible positive energy, enthusiasm and constant kindness.
