  It was a good stay - the only fault is that it is very inaccassible with prams!!

  We had a great stay here with our 16-month-old! The food was good, especially when we dined a la carte, by the beach. I would say this resort caters mostly to German tourists. Would suggest more entertainment, especially on Friday night (Thursday and Saturday were good but there wasn't much to do on Friday). Animation was okay - but I do believe that there is room for improvement in terms of friendliness with kids. Will not visit again because of the inaccessibility of this resort - there were stairs everywhere and with a pram this was an inconvenience.

  Five stars by far!

  Very nice place but far from a lot and no shops around. We booked the half board which included breakfast and dinner. Beware though l, the half board does not included drinks with dinner. I also did not like the fact they brought you the check even before you finished eating and then wanted to order additional drinks. There was also a charge for using the jacuzzi which I did not understand. The water park is misleading in the sense it is small and really only two slides for older kids, really meant for young kids and families. The pools also close early 1800. After day of site seeing would be nic ti be able to use the pools. Staff was great, food was good.   Hotel has sewage odor problem with no fix

  We booked the presidential suite for 6 days, we checked in at midnight, our room was inhibitable due to suffocating smell of sewage and rot, the reception on duty employees acknowledged the problem but he was with no authority to change the room or find a solution. I barely slept for few hours before spending the rest of the early morning at the reception. At 9:30AM the hotel finally moved us to another suite with bad sewage smell but not as suffocating as the first room.We kept complaining about the smell the entire 6 days with no solution. Every single employee who visited the room (including cleaning ladies from different shifts, swimming pool maintenance guys and reception employee) acknowledged the foul sewage smell, the only person who did not smell anything was the hotel manager and general maintenance manager (probably not to acknowledge the problem and hence find a solution or compensation).We had to leave the room as many hours as possible all day and just sleep in the sewage smell in a 5 star hotel in presidential suite!!!!This has affected our entire stay despite the hotel many facilities (access to beach, aqua park and many swimming pools). However, the hotel can no way be rated as 5-star hotel as it misses any sense of luxury (as simple as tissue box is not available inside the room, also the bathroom door knob was broken and the shower drainage was blocked - the hotel has fixed all these issues later); if you consider this hotel as all inclusive five star hotels compared to the ones in Italy, Turkey or Egypt, then you will be disappointed.On positive term, the available facilities and restaurant outlets are all decent and good, the hotel is clean and the service in restaurants and bars is okay.The hotel location is not the best, the whole Georgupolis area is not served with Taxis or easily accessed public transportation, renting a car is a must if you decide to come to this area. Taxis are way too expensive.   Amazing relaxing time.

  We visited as a family of 5 in the October half term and couldn’t believe how quiet it was! Multiple times my children were the only ones around and in the pool, even though the pools were abit chilly the children still loved them! The water park was amazing and they children spent multiple hours in there also! The staff were outstanding, they went above and beyond every single day. I have never seen staff work as hard as what they did especially at meal times when it was abit busier! The rooms are very spacious and the beds are massive! Bottles of water topped up every day in the room by room service! Very good location to! We went on multiple days out from georgioupolis, lake kournas to rethymno and chania! The weather was perfect for abit of exploring! Thankyou again to all the staff for your service, we will definitely be returning customers!   We spent 6 days here in August. It's pleasant enough, and the little water park is great for children - but if you're used to 5* service, luxury and environment then this will fall considerably short. We couldn't get a space at either a la carte restaurant, so buffet style it was - food really is excellent, but it's repetitive and it's all inside (no outside seating). Rooms are OK, tiried, again nit 5* and balconies v small. Was clean though, quiet and not busy.
