This resort is located on the beautiful beach of Kolymvari, 20 km from the city of Chania. The centre of Kolymvari is just 60 m from the resort.

    The hotel that time forgot

    This hotel is crap they couldn’t organise anything. Three rooms later and the room we got was in need of an update. Staff are obnoxious and rude The photos on the website are about ten years old, if you do go here you’ll be extremely disappointed.DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

    Overbooked .... AGAIN!

    On arrival we were shown to our room which was not the sea front suite that we had paid for!! On complaining we were told that it would be ready the next day which of course was totally unacceptable. We had to insist on speaking to the Manager who was hiding in his office behind reception and would have heard our conversation with the receptionist. He offered us an upgrade on our board which financially didn't really benefit us. We had to accept the situation as we had no choice.The room was ready by 11.45 and the move to it was smooth. The suite was large and clean with a lovely balcony and its own loungers and parasol.The hotel is positioned on the beach and the dining area is just inches from the sand, giving a magnificent view and a tranquil place to eat. Zoe, the restaurant manager, was friendly and chatty as were the bar staff, especially Andreas who soon remembered our drink of choice.The food was varied and enjoyable, and much hotter once we mentioned how lukewarm it and the plates were to Zoe who rectified the situation by that same evening.The sunrises are spectacular and we were lucky to see a few baby turtles finding their way to the sea early in the morning.Overall the hotel and staff are great and we did enjoy our holiday just a shame about the overbooking which seems to have happened before.

    Pure relaxation

    Where do I start. We arrived early hours of the morning. It was our honeymoon and when we got to the room they had decorated the door with a bow champagne and a love heart cake which was lovely. Rooms was always clean. Food was amazing always something to eat. Andreas the bar man is fantastic always welcoming in fairness all the staff are but he stood out from the rest. Loads of pools to chose from we had a swim up room and hardly used it because the sea is so calm. Whilst there my mother in law slipped (yes they came on honeymoon only because we brought our wedding day forward a year 😂) the hotel was great with sorting doctors and getting her seen quickly staff were very attentive. We will definitely be returning. If it’s pure relaxation you want this is the place. A bus stops right outside hotel to go into Chania takes about 40mins. There are a few shops bars and restaurants near the hotel 10-15min walk is a big supermarket. Highly recommend this hotel.

    This was our 2nd visit and we were welcomed like family ,everything was beyond expectation ,amazing accomodation, staff who more than go the extra mile ,food is outstanding, choice was fabulous , absolutely nothing to fault .we are about to book again for next year

    A bit late in posting this review, we visited the hotel in May, for 14 nights and had a wonderful time.Our room was lovely, fantastic view , the bar staff were always friendly whether down at the pool bar , or in the main bar in the evening (Kostas) .Service at breakfast, lunch and evening was always good and enjoyed our conversations with Matao. We really enjoyed the food could not fault anything.Zoe was always very helpful and gave us information on the local area.We hope to return in the near future , as the staff do make you feel at home nothing is to much trouble.
