    We just arriwed home after spending a week here and even tho it was early in the season we had a lovely time at this hotell. It was clean and tidy, and very good service and the food was really good and you could always find something to eat. All the staff was so nice and friendly and eager to help! Special thanks to Hara (the name means happy in greek) so we called her happy because she was always smiling and so serviceminded and friendly and made our stay even better 🩷. Michallis in the mainbar was also so nice and the other barman in the poolbar witch we unfortunally forgot the name of. Do not hesitate to book, you will have a lovely stay.

    Magical break by the sea

    Myself and my partner have spent the last fortnight at the Giannoulis Santa Marina Beach Hotel and we loved every minute of our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We had a beach side view room which had an impeccable view of the coast, Agii Theodori island and the mountains behind us. The room itself, while small, was clean and has a modern bathroom fitting which was more than enough for us. The restaurant buffet was great and while the selection of foods was smaller than other places we have stayed at, the quality of the food was some of the best with both local and international foods available. The choice of drinks from the all-inclusive was decent too with beer, wines and a good selection of cocktails on the menu. Probably the best part of the hotel is it's staff. Throughout the holiday the hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and just pleasant to communicate with. I have to especially mention the guest relations manager Charoula. During our stay I had planned to propose to my partner and Charoula helped to organise a private meal for us both at the hotel in which the staff had decorated a section on the outdoor area by the beach. Manoussos waited during the meal and was very friendly and funny which made the moment all the more special. In all I can see this was one of the most special holidays we have been on and the staff and the hotel made it all the more so.     Fantastic end of season break

    Just spent a fantastic week here. Yes the rooms are small but perfectly adequate, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The towels were changed every day and the bedding every other day.I found the food to be very good. The buffet is not large but I think it is quality over quantity. The salad section is particularly good. The beach is lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds available but it was end of season and I didn’t notice anyone reserving them. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. Whether that be staff on reception, housekeeping, in the restaurant or the bars, all of the staff are so lovely and helpful. This means the world particularly when you are a solo traveler.I will definitely be back at some point :)

    Wonderful Crete and Chania

    This was our first time in Crete. We both had an absolutely lovely time, right at the end of the season, as we got back yesterday. Picked this hotel as wanted to be on the beach (it really is if you stay at the main building, which we did) but near to public transport (right outside the door!). We chose half board option as usually out and about during the day and not big drinkers. Staff absolutely lovely- so helpful- much more so than other hotels we've stayed in. Cleaners did a great job of keeping our room clean and tidy. Buffet food good, breakfast very good. Lovely to be able to sit on the patio, almost on the beach, in the sun to have breakfast. We didn't use the pools as went in the sea quite a bit. No fighting over sun loungers as there were plenty- although we were too busy to lounge that much! We watched the evening entertainment on 2 occasions, there was a really good violinist on one night. The barman did an excellent Aperol Spritz too! Lovely, sandy beach and lots of bars/tavernas to have a beer/food at. We walked about 4 km as the beach is a long one in Chania Bay- a really lovely way to spend a couple of hours. The bus into Chania takes about 20 mins and only costs 2 euros- a must- as "Hania" is fab! The hotel organised car hire for us- which was so convenient and we took the car up into the mountains. We also went to Falanarsa Bay- but I believe Elafonissi or Balos might be more impressive. Samaria Gorge is stunning and a place we will definitely return to.     Overbooked get them through the door and out

    As the previous review, we also ended up in another hotel for 2 days. Problem with plumbing? What a load of C*** (pun intended). They know straight away that it would be sorted 2 days later at 12 noon! . Speaking to other guests who booked through Jet2 they had the same issue. Looks like they over booked. We did get a free "A la carte" meal which i would say was the best part of the holiday. The food and service was perfect and the food was hot (not like a lot of the inclusive meals) If you wanted a sun lounger on the beach you had to get up really early to beat other guests from putting towels on them!. Sea view room was ok but a little bit small. Good job i haven't seen my feet for a while due to having a large belly, you couldn't bend over to wash them anyway due to the bathroom being on the small side too. All inclusive but you have to pay for the safe. Overall wasted 2 days holiday due to being moved, just spoiled a what was to be a relaxing holiday.
