Location

The resort is located in a tranquil spot of Gouves village, within a walking distance from the main sandy beach, the ideal place to start exploring Crete.

Facility

The holiday village was renovated in 2020. 391 rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and several auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Guests can buy souvenirs at the gift shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a page service and a hotel doctor. A business centre with fax machine, projector, a flip chart and pens and photocopier is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. There is also a desk and, for a fee, a safe. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Other features include a direct dial telephone, satellite television, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge). Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use. The complex has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex, which includes 3 outdoor pools and 2 children's pools is a great place to work out or just relax and unwind. A waterslide provides fun for all ages. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. For guests who wish to keep active, beach volleyball, paddle tennis and jogging are available. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, darts and callisthenics. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a hammam, anti-ageing treatments and a hydrojet massage and, for an additional fee, a steam bath, a spa and a reflexology massage. Third-party operators offer steam bath and reflexology massage. At the holiday village offers excellent facilities for leisure and relaxation, including an entertainment programme, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a lobby bar. Special extras for all-inclusive holidaymakers include, for example, international brands, diet meals and children's meals. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, organic food, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. Baby food is available upon request (free). The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    A family holiday with 4 grandkids and 6 adults ranging in age 40-80. Food is varied and anyone saying they couldn’t find anything to eat gave a serious problem. Granted like most continental countries it could have been hotter, but so much choice. The gyros,pizza and burger station is great and ice creams on tap for everyone all day. The choice of pools is really good to cater for all ages, my grandchildren aged 10-13 enjoyed the water slides and even got me on them at 70!. The entertainment was very hit and miss but apparently the main season starts in June and they have outside entertainers come to the hotel so can’t comment on what they are. The accommodation, we had 2 family rooms which had 2 bedrooms and 1 double room, and they were kept spotless along with the rest of the hotel. We found all of the staff throughout the complex very polite and helpful. The beach is a 5 minute stroll and is beautiful sand, no beach shoes required. 10 euros for 2 beds and a brolly for the day, great value. Grandkids already asking when we’re coming back🤗

    Albora was so helpful. She was kind and softly spoken. She made sure I was comfortable at all the times and that the pressure was right when she was massaging me. She gave me advice on what to do next or me in the future to help my muscles and what products to use for my skin. I would definitely visit Albora again on my next visit. Thank you

    Thankfully our last night. Don’t get me wrong, the grand children love it here. Of its type, a happy clappy sort of place, it’s brilliant. But for me being late 70s, a chill area would be nice. Our rooms , three in all are well appointed and kept spotless. The food selection is varied and plentiful. Coffee could be better though. Would I come back? No, ime showing my age.
