Location

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 2-storey building with a lift and 156 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Further services include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service and a hotel doctor. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and adjustable central heating. Guests can relax and enjoy partial sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms include a double bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. Valuables can be securely stored in a safe. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Sport

A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sport and leisure programme, which includes tennis, bocce, beach volleyball and basketball. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as paddle boating, canoeing, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy water skiing and windsurfing. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, darts, yoga, aerobics and pilates. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon and massage treatments and, for an additional fee, anti-ageing treatments and aromatherapy. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Guests can dine in a cosy atmosphere at the restaurant (non-smoking and a buffet). All-inclusive can be booked. A delicious buffet awaits guests at breakfast and lunch. Alternatively, it is also possible to choose dishes à la carte at dinner or order a set menu for lunch. Various kinds of breakfast (late riser) guarantee a great start to the day. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. Baby food is available upon request (free). The hotel also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Chide this hotel for its family options.Bedroom with huge bed and bunk beds.Room is clean and comfortable although needs updating and decorating but hey, not in it much tbh.The hotel itself is immaculate.The staff, all of them are efficient and friendly and go above and beyond.The food is very tasty with lots of options.The grounds are beautiful kept.Kids club which was attended by my 9 year old and 5 year old was very well run.Evening entertainment 8-9 for the kids was great and after that was very pleasant.All inclusive includes cocktails which is a plus.Beach is right in front of you and is private to the hotel.Beach shoes are a MUST as the stones/rocks once in the sea are excruciatingly painful.Downsides: as I said, rooms are tired. And those bloody rocks. Small pool could have been bigger as it got pretty full. Great place for families. Had a lovely stay!

    Hello! I spent my birthday at your hotel! I loved it from the moment I entered, we were greeted by Adina and her colleague at the reception! They were very kind and polite! I also met Alex, also very polite! The day I turned 60, we went to the beach, when I arrived I found a very pleasant surprise in the room, which had been prepared by your employees (it means a lot to me)! Everything is very beautiful, well organized, the staff always had a smile on their faces and always asked if we wanted anything else! I was deeply impressed by the organization and all the care I received (the view from the room was wonderful), wonderful mountain, cleanliness! Congratulations, I will come back whenever I have the chance and I recommend it to my friends!     We stayed at this hotel for five days, and it was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The food was healthy and delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming (special thanks to Adina for all the helpful tips!), and the beachfront location was beautiful. We loved the spacious outdoor areas, clean swimming pool, spotless rooms, and fun activities (thank you, Alex, for making our days so enjoyable!).     Relaxing Getaway for Sunny Days!

    Long awaited getaway to Crete, Meli Palace did not disappoint, from the facilities to the entertainment not forgetting the food and drink, the rooms do need updating and I believe this is planned to be done, bearing in mind you don’t go to a place like Meli Palace to stay in the room, the staff were always on hand regardless of the request and the outcome was always positive to our exact needs, the friendliness and want to help is absolutley first class. All areas of Meli were spotless and continually being cleaned.My wife and daughter went snorkelling and were very lucky to spot a couple of turtles, octopus and plenty of fish, the only down side it although the beach is lovely and Sandy there are plenty of rocks in the water, so water shoes are a definite must.The on-site shop sells literally everything you need as the closest shops are about 2km away, but that what also contributes to the peacefulness away from hustle and bustle.All in all we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Meli Palace to anyone thinking about staying.     Nice hotel, lovely staff and good location.

    Hotel was lovely. Food was what you would expect from all inclusive but was really nice. The staff were so helpful and nice. We spoke with Nikoleta most mornings and nothing was any trouble for her. But all the staff was nice, the guy when we arrived Friday night was really helpul aswell the lady on reception in the afternoon.Transport links was good, the bus stops every morning at 9.15 to go all the major cities and towns. Taxis was only ever 5 mins away and at most cost 20 euros to Malia and 7 euros to sissi, which is a beautiful town to visit with lots of bars and restaurants.My only criticism really was the gardeners and maintenance staff started really early in the morning, which I do understand, but when the hallway echos like it does its really loud.
