    Hotel like in the 70's. The location is the best you can have in Heraklion. The service (only the reception for us) was very good and kind. However - the shower itself (not bathroom) is very small. The only soap provided was small bar of soap - hardly enough. Not even shower gel.On weekends - the street below is so noisy - we had on Saturday night a big party in the street until 23:20 and then the bar below us put music loud until 04:00 and we couldnt sleep. The mattresses are old.The WIFI was very good.

    We just got back from Heraklion , staying in the 'El Greco' Hotel for 3 nights: It was a very convenient location, nice to stroll down in the morning to have an early cup of greek coffee or a caffe freddo at the Morosini fountain... The rooms are rather newly redecoratd with rain shower and other stylish bath room fixtures, the balcony from the 4 th floor overlooks a neighborhood going on to the ocean. We extremely enyoyed to stay there! It is not for the faint of heart if you're allergic to noise: but you cannot expect to be in the center of old town and have it quiet.

    Excellent holiday location without a beach. Well maintained all over. Friendly, happy staff was always happy to help. I found the breakfast a little bit limited in choice but was OK. They also serve lunches and dinners as extras. This hotel is not all-inclusive so you have the opportunity to sample the local restaurants and bars which are only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. You also get a beautiful sunset view when you go outside the front of the hotel. Well worth a photoshoot! It is a very popular viewing area as it overlooks the Caldera.

    This is a pretty good hotel for the price. It isn't really luxurious but it's clean and tidy with comfortable beds and good bathrooms. There's a lift for luggage, and it has good air-conditioning. The staff are very polite. It has a great location at the centre of Heraklion.

    This is in English for my fellow travelers.Where do I begin? 6 luggages 4 bags and no one flinched their eye to help us, not a welcome, nor a hello! We felt invisible until we went to the reception and what a nightmare it was. The receptionist was manic about all 3 guests giving him the ID Numbers as if the one from the person who booked wasn’t enough. As if our flight wasn’t literally in 8(?) hours.Wouldn’t let us in even tho its not mandatory. Imagine being on the roads for so long, arriving late and having to deal with this. One of my friend wrote his name down and the receptionist called him names because he couldnt read the letters but everyone else could. When went to eat and came back, not even 2 hours after the check in, the man yelled at the same friend who went up on the stairs like he was talking to a bad behaved dog. Said that 3 girls live on the room and showed him the paper that my friend wrote that clearly had a MALE’s name and HOW ON EARTH COULD HE NOT REMEMBER HIM. Its not a five star busy hotel, would rate it a 1, so how busy was he those 2 hours? About the room, found hair in the toilet. Only good thing, the only thing renovated. Old and tiny doors, when you open the door it hits the walls and annoys the guests around. We stayed at 210, its 3 people capacity, the “view” was backrooms and mechanisms, full of pigeons, we were afraid to open the window because they also did nothing to prevent them. I WISH I HAD TAKEN A PICTURE BUT I WAS TOO TIRED TO DEAL WITH THIS. Maybe you will get better luck with the reception service and the room, but I wouldn’t let luck define were I spend my hard worked money so do the same. TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS AND EASTE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE
