5 star? not a chance, more like 2 star at a push, dont stay here

    rating27 Apr 2026

Do Not stay here.... this hotel isnt 5 star, its not even 4 star i would bearly call it a 3 star.. why? well we booked a suite.... a suite thats meant to be a level up from the normal rooms, and all i can say is if this was the level of the suites i feel sorry for the people in the normal rooms... 1st the staff on receiption (an older lady) was very rude and some what agressive and demanding when we checked in, 2nd our room, dirty, furniture had stains all over them, sofa bed was broken and covered in stains, window couldnt close because part of it was missing, and because of this i was attacked by 17 mosquitos during the night, carrying on with the room, the balcony had wooden decking that attached to nothing just lay on top of the floor and flys up and moves around whilst stepping on it, the view we had was of a an abandoned hotel and the over grown jungle that surrounded it, 3rd dinner... well its a free for all, no one to seat you (this is a 5 star hotel remember) food was just a mess, no taste, no quality, just basic as basic could be and took forever to refill once something was gone, so many parties of 2-3 taking up tables of 6 or more, mean we had to sit outside in the rain and thunderstorms to eat, surrounded by ferral cats, 4th there are pools... one in the basement that you would mistake from the set of aa saw movie, and the ones above are dirty, and the pool beds are stained and rusted, we were made to pay a 5 star tourist tax when booking in of 15 euro a night, this is a joke... we complained to the hotel and the hotel manager requested a meeting, within 20 seconds he offered to move us to a sister hotel of the same group, i was reluctant due to how poor this hotel was but decided on it after looking at the hotel (Bella beach), since this was a 5 star hotel the difference could'nt have been further from one another, checking in at the bella beach, staff member carried our bags, we had a private pool, we had edible food, 2 massive pools and a section of the beach, not to mention the room was 100000x nicer, strange that they are both the same rating yet one is far superior to the other, i fell it was a con rating this hotel as a 5 star, and from the reaction of the manager i wasnt the 1st person to complain about the room and overall condition of the hotel

    Perfect Stay

    rating20 Apr 2026

Great hotel location – in a quiet area close to the beach, yet within walking distance of the town and tourist attractions. The food was excellent and the hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We have never experienced such kindness from people anywhere else as we did in Crete.

    Not so good

    rating17 Feb 2026

Stayed here for 10 days on our honeymoon!! Very disappointed. Rated as 4 star but way below.Arrived late at night and no-one to show us to our rooms we had to ask another guest where the lifts were.Rooms shabby and in need of refurbishment. Outdoor pool looked unclean, indoor pool rather dingy and very dimly lit.Food although a very good choice was often not very hot and we tried the restaurant at various times. Some sort of staff meeting was going on one afternoon and a young man was being severely reprimanded in front of guests which was highly embarrassing for everyone. Positives were the bbq night was excellent but cost €16 pp. And the know bar on the beach front if you could get a seat. All in all not a good experience

    NOT A 5* HOTEL

    rating05 Nov 2025

Certainly not a 5* hotel, the bar at the hotel was round the pool, so sat on plastic chairs at night, staff working there not very friendly, the beach bar was fabulous and Mike is a lovely chap who certainly knows how to run a bar and make good drinks. There is a lovely bar in reception with comfortable seatind and this was never opened...3 pools and less than 100 sunbeds for the whole of the hotel which supposably has well over 100 rooms, only 1 bottle of water on arrival rest of the time buy your own, the hotel water tasted as though it had purification tablets in, food very hit and miss one night my sister and myself had fish in a sauce, both of which were not cooked in the middle, taken away by a very reluctant manager.
