  Nice hotel in an budget - awful staff

  We booked 3 rooms in total 11 people for 2 overnights (30/09-01/09). The booking was initially made via telephone since we live in the other part of Crete , Chania . The original booking was 2 rooms with 4 beds each(quadruple) and 1 room with 3 beds(triple) . We made a bank deposit to book a room . About 2 weeks before the check-in we called for some further information and the gentleman at the reception informed us that there were no rooms with four beds available. Since 8 of the 11 people were a couple , we asked them if we could still sleep 4 people in one room ( one couple in the double bed and one in the single bed) . They said , YES WE CAN DO THAT THERE IN NO PROBLEM. (Money was not an issue , we just wanted to sleep in as less many rooms as possible for the fun and the long nights. )Fast Forward to the check in day . Since some of us were working we arrived different times . We settled in , enjoyed the day and the next morning all 11 of us went down to have breakfast . In the middle of our breakfast , a lady ( owner? owner's relative? receptionist?) started SHOUTING rudely in Greek -how many are you - how many rooms have you booked . in front of other customers . We felt that she degraded us so much . When we went to the reception to sort things out , she said they hadn't written anything down about the 4 people in the triple rooms , so we did not say it and it was our fault!!!!!! Because we didn't want to ruin our holiday we did't insist as much as we should. In the end after some conversation we paid 20 more euros and they added 2 beds . It was not the money . It was the rude attitude and the unwelcoming atmosphere.(When a friend of ours spilled some coffee , she made rude gestures and she showed directly to us she was not pleased . Ok - In a hotel accidents happen)Breakfast costs 6,5 euros and there is not much variety. Would not recommend it . Despite those things , hotel is nicely located just 3 km from the center of Sitia , pool is clean , the parking ample and the rooms are nicely cleaned . Overall a nice hotel to stay to if you are o a budget but try to avoid the short-haired lady unless she attends a -how to speak to the guests and run a hotel- class.

  Very Nice Place!

  My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Sea Breeze for 2 nights.The apartment was very clean, equipped with a little cooktop, bar fridge, kettle and all the utensils for cooking your own meals.The place also has the breakfast (which I highly recommend).It is located just a few meters from the beach, but if you prefer, you can enjoy the day at the pool. The staff are very friendly.

  Vey good and peaceful hotel.It is also vey new hotel. The rooms are really big and offer facilities like oven, microwave oven, dishes, tv, etc.The kindness of the personel is remarkable. Breakfast with quality and quantity. The only disadvantage is the distance from the main city (you need car, about 3 Km)

  Well if your after cheap and value accomodation this is it whilst 3 klm from town the hotel doesnt look old . The rooms are large with small kitchenette bed is very hard basic double for a short stay ok, aircon is good and the view from your balcony quite beautiful. The manager has absolutely no personality at all im mean zero but was not rude in anyway. The bathroom ....um if your a midget its fine if your a medium framed european its a big challenge.Breakfast is very basic but for the price is ok but dont expect any atmosphere at breakfast as there is none and no fans no aircon so its hot and humid with juices at room temp.

  Very big rooms/apartments, clean rooms, aircon and big fridge working fine. Private parking is big enough for guests. If you have a car it is a good and quiet location. Because of wind no mosquitos at all. Only problem is that you cannot drink alcohol for dinner because you will need a car to get nearest city, Sitia. No restaurants in walking distance, so you need a car. I saw some police patrols on the road between Sitia and the hotel and they stopping tourists, so be careful and do not drink. Hotel stuff was very helpful and kind. They allow us to keep our room till afternoon on our last day there and it was very nice. Recommend this hotel.
