Location

The complex is built right on the beach of Stavros, a short walking distance from the village of Stavros in the peninsula of Akrotiri in Chania. The peninsula of Akrotiri, located north east of Chania, is known for its calming and relaxing way of life. It offers some of the most stunning and scenic beaches of all Chania. Conveniently located 10 km from Chania Airport and only 13 km away from picturesque Chania town, this hotel offers the ideal combination of accessibility and tranquility. The village of Stavros proposes supermarkets, taverns/restaurants and bars (free transfer to the market of Stavros upon request). Just a short journey (6 km) away, guests will find the village of Kounoupidiana which hosts a larger variety of shops and amenities including banks, a post office and supermarkets in addition to other shops and outlets. The area is close to historical and archaeological sites and an ideal location to explore Western Crete.

Facility

A pleasant ambience awaits guests in 53 apartments. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities at the apartment hotel include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Most units have a sea view. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a stovetop and a microwave. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub.     An Unexpected Find in Stavros!

    Through a series of unfortunate events, I ended up in Chania with no accommodations. As has been my experience in life, God always has my back and I stumbled on to Zorba's Beach Village that had a single room left! Maria who was at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful in getting me settled in for an 8 night stay. Zeta at the bar is cheerful, professional and makes awesome cappuccino! The atmosphere is delightful and the room is very comfortable, but the views, the pool, and a beautiful little beach make this a destination I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable family friendly stay at one of the most beautiful Mediterranean destinations I've ever seen.

    Zorbas Hotel Beach Village is a little gem which lies on the beautiful part of the Akrotiri peninsula in Chania, unspoilt natural area with stunning views of the Cretan Sea and the unforgettable sunsets and located ideally right on a sandy beach of private land. Approximately 30 minutes from the centre of Chania, you enter a location which is peaceful, picturesque a serene setting but well worth a stay in these attractive single storey apartments. Most of the units are well proportionate, beds are of a good size, mattresses and pillows are comfortable and clean, well designed with gardens, paths, secluded sitting areas and BBQ leading to a wonderful pool area which is extremely clean and comfortable sunbeds and pool bar. The pool is split suitable for children and adults. The units are so fully equipped for self catering – I was impressed - unbelievable! There was also a BBQ/patio outside our unit, but BBQ had not been cleaned from previous user and that was the only negative! This however will not deter me from returning to Zorbas in the future. If you wish a rest from self catering then they do provide a free ‘Take Away Service’ from a local Taverna, providing local home made food – from local Taverna - “Yiasemi” – which is delicious. A walk to the taverna itself is probably a good 30 minutes and is located east towards Zorba/Gold Coast Beach. We had lunch here and was superb. Other Restaurants here as well, very popular but we didn’t have time to savour the others.This is very convenient for those who whish to be close to Chania airport and hiring a car to be delivered - pick up from Zorbas Hotel Beach Village was so easy – seamless. Highly recommended. It's also a very chill out location for a 2 week stay for families with young children and those who want tranquility. It appears extremely safe for young families.My only wish would be to have a restaurant on sight to savour that glorious mesmerizing sunset. Years ago, there was a wonderful taverna next door, wonderful views over the sea and sunset, no longer there sadly. I still rate this as a favourite.

    Nice hotel. The owner is polite and anything you ask, he is willing to help you. The pool is amazing with great view with stands and sunbeds if you want to rest!!! thank you very much will come back for sure next year! we rented a car and went around everywhere!!!

    Top notch service from Zeta at the poolside bar! Flavourful cocktails and snacks. Zeta was friendly, funny and the most hospitable hostess we met in Crete! She shared knowledge about f the local restaurants and sites. We will stay here again. Facilities were pristine clean and accessible to people staying at nearby resorts..

    Truly surprising and fantastic place. It is not a Five Star hotel, but everything about it feels like one. The people were wonderful, the service great and the pool was one of the best I have been to. As I told Zacharenia the manager, I will definitely bring my friends and colleagues in the future.
