  Ikaros is a family-run hotel, and you are made to feel welcome. The owners can't do enough to help you. It is well located, close to the harbour and the town. It has a traditional feel to it, and you can choose breakfast as an optional extra. We didn't bother as we had a fridge in the room to keep milk, yoghurt, and fruit for breakfast. There is a kettle and cups, but I would recommend taking your own mug.The beds were comfortable, and there is ample storage space. The bathroom was a decent size and, unusually for Greek accommodation, there was a proper shower cubicle, which meant you didn't end up with a pool of water on the floor.We had an amazing sea view, and with both a window and a door in the room, there was no need to use the air conditioning.

  Elegant hotel with friendly, easygoing athmosphere

  Our room in the Ikaros Art hotel was very spacious, elegant and had everything we needed. The large terrasse with seaview was the highlight of it. Breakfast is good too and served on a rooftop terrasse. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Eventhough the hotel is elegant, the atmosphere is easygoing, which made us feel very comfortable.

  A great little find in an excellent location. The beach is a two minute walk ( make sure you nab a sun bed in front of Deja Vue cafe - brilliant service) and one minute to the shop. Central to everything really!! It has a tiny lift up to a beautifully decorated room. The view isn’t great, but I enjoyed watching the cats and locals go about their day. Bring a mug if you want a cup of tea, as the cups are tiny. There’s a small fridge big enough for keeping your mixers cold, and the air conditioning works great so nice and cool in the evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Very nice people, and they have a gorgeous dog called Argos, always a bonus 🥰 We booked this last minute, as our original accommodation was cancelled, so glad it was because this place is lovely.

  We stayed at the Ikaros for 1 night as a family of 4. We had 2 rooms next to each other. Both were nicely decorated and very comfortable with all mod cons, clean bathrooms and good air con. The rooms also had a balcony which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and the location is fantastic, right in the centre of town. There was a a paid parking place within 2 mins of the hotel but you could probably also park on the street. All in all we had a great stay at Ikaros and would highly recommend!

  My boyfriend and I turned up and got upgraded to a nicer room as it was free. Excellent location, sparkling clean, modern. There’s a lift so handy if you have a giant suitcase like I had. Amazing, friendly, helpful staff and owners. Nothing is a problem and they always greet you with a smile. Parking can be arranged right next door for 3 euro a day. We also got washing organised abs it was ready that night! We got our towels changed and bed made daily. There’s a rooftop terrace where breakfast is served and it’s also a bar at nighttime. It’s a 3-minute walk to the nearest beach in town, also excellent location as it’s right in town. These are new owners and they do their best to make your stay enjoyable and with a smile. Lovely, big, airy rooms. Definitely recommend it!
