Location

This holiday village is quietly located directly in a wonderful sandy bay and the nearest beach is sheltered by a pier and lies just 300 m from the hotel. The picturesque fishing village of Sissi is situated less than 1 km away and may easily be reached by passing along the footpath. The enchanting harbour as well as the centre of Sissi where guests will discover a selection of cosy taverns, shops and kafenions, typically Greek coffee bars, invite guests to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The archaeological site of Malia featuring the excavations of the famous Minoan palace are to be found some 7 km away and the centre of Malia offering a selection of shopping and entertainment venues lies approximately 10 km away. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel providing excellent connections to the nearby towns as well as to Malia and Heraklion (regularity depends on the season) Transfer to Heraklion airport takes around 45 minutes.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 146 suites and 246 double rooms. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking, tennis and crazy golf. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy jet skiing, banana boat rides and canoeing. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example table tennis, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, a gym, billiards and pilates. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, spa treatments, anti-ageing treatments and cellulite treatment and, for an additional fee, a steam bath and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Great food and friendly service await guests in 3 air-conditioned restaurants. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A delicious and varied buffet is prepared for breakfast and lunch every day, and a set menu can be ordered at lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    The hotel is great! The food is good, everything is very clean, and the staff are friendly. The spa area is also highly recommended. I had a back and neck massage with Chrysa and it was fantastic. She knew exactly what she was doing and it was very pleasant.

    Stayed here for Viva Crete salsa holiday. A beautiful venue. We booked a room with a view of the water and were absolutely not disappointed with this, especially when the sun was setting. The room itself was fine other than the shower. There was a bath with shower head, but the only place to put the shower was on the far wall, so directing water at yourself without it spraying all over the bathroom was difficult. The resort is huge, so bring comfy shoes! Good food, other than the wasp filled honey bowls in the morning!

    I can really recommend this place. I had a sports massage with Chrysa, and it was excellent. She adjusted the pressure perfectly — firm and effective, just as a proper sports massage should be — yet still very relaxing. Very professional and pleasant atmosphere. I’d definitely come back!
