I do not recommend this hotel. Its awful. Full of cats wifi is non existent .bathroom floods when showering. Curtain is pitiful. Noise from hotel next door is so loud. Its hotter than hell. The beds are so uncomfortable. We complained and we left . the hotel refused to refund us . We are allergic to cats . They allow them in the hotel. Its awful. Its disgusting. We've been treated unfairly. My hard earned money was spent on this dump. Book at your peril.

This hotel is run down the sunbeds are old and need throwing away the pool is just ok , The bar is Absolutely Rubbish Bar What BAR it's absolutely Terrible ,The bar needs to be made a lot bigger with lots of stuff in it like food better ice creams better bar staff that nos how to make drinks 🍸 yes the bar was Terrible, never mind the bed rooms they was clean very basic the beds where very bad old and nearly on the floor NO GOOD give me back ack lets not even talk about the bath rooms O M G the shower is disgusting with a little hose to wash your self the water went everywhere all over the floors and it was very slippy I didn't complain as I felt little sorry for him He looked very tired and run down so I said nothing looks like he needs a little T L C a good wash ,,, lol ,, and a change of clothes as he had the same clothes on all week with that heat its disgusting i mean hes the owner ? You need to look more the part ? OH No ? ANYWAY what pisses me of is that it was not cheap to stay there it could be so so much better with bigger bar more drinks more food chocolates sweets crisps more Ice-creams just More choices as we had to go elsewhere to get an Ice-cream and eat it outside because we was not allowed to take it inside ? Because we did not buy it in the pool eria, The good side was its across the seaside which is super the down side is the hotel doesn't match up ,

    Basic, no frills, but fine

    rating13 May 2025

Needed an extra room for a week and this place was basic but fine. Room cleaned 4 times in 7 nights, right on the coast. Would recommend if you are ok with basic no frills, of you want something for the family it will disappoint.Swimming pool was fine, place was quiet.

    Negative experience

    rating08 Oct 2024

We bought souvenirs in the shop inside his hotel, he distracted us with his chatter and added other souvenirs in the bag that we hadn't bought, costing us more of course.I don't like being cheated, and if he did it for a few pennies, I don't want to imagine if one day I had to book at his hotel. I would have gone back but unfortunately we had the flight. Not very honest

    Such a Shame

    rating31 Aug 2024

The Kazapakis apartments have such great potential, it is sad to see how much of it is wasted due to lack of interest and effort by the owner. We went in the school holidays with a party of seven and it was far from full. There was a scathing review on here a little while ago, and I have to say that some of the issues highlighted in that one have been addressed ( the walkway is now lit at night, there is no cat faeces and the wi-fi works in all areas) but there is still a lot that needs to be fixed before this place becomes the goldmine that it potentially is.Michael, the owner, does give the impression of being a charming host, but doesn't seem to have real interest in being a hotelier and just wants to screw as much money out of his guests as possible. The situation of the apartments couldn't really be better, it is literally just across the road from a beach and in the quieter part of Analipsi, being about a 10 minute walk from the main restaurants and bars. The Reception area is small, but adequate and tidy and has a shop selling pottery and gifts, which leads through to the breakfast area. We didn't have breakfast here, so I can't comment on that. The first part of the hotel you get to is the Pool area. This is one of the best areas, it is clean with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas (albeit that the sunbeds could do with a good clean or replacement). The pool itself is very good and a welcome place to have a refreshing dip either early in the morning or returning from a hot day. However... the pool closes at 6.00 pm on the dot, with Michael removing anybody still swimming. His reason for this (and many other things) is that the "Police" will come. It appears that the real reason is that he wont pay for pool staff, and he wants to go home at 6.00.From the Pool, a walkway leads to the rooms. The tiles on this walkway, can be slippery when wet and there are some that are lifting and cracked. This would be a hazard to anybody who was barefoot coming from the pool, and is one of the nonsensical things that could be fixed in ten minutes with some adhesive or cement. There are quite a few cats, but this wasn't a problem for our party and there is a lady who comes in daily and tends to them. The rooms themselves are a good size, but do have some problems. The mattresses on the beds are well past their usable life they are uncomfortable, old and lumpy, we placed folded blankets under our topsheets, which helped a little. My wife had had a comfortable mattress at the start of the holiday, but it was changed when we were out for the day. (We know, as we checked the colour when checking for mattress protectors). Presumably somebody had complained about theirs being uncomfortable, so it was swapped. When confronted with this, Michael denied it "on his children's lives". The bathrooms tend to flood, as there are no shower curtains or screens. There has been an attempt to make them wet-rooms, but they don't drain so you have to use a towel as a bathmat on slippery tiles. Our friends were accused of blocking the drain in their room as it was "funny that it didn't happen until you came". Michael then complained that he had had to spend two hours clearing sand and toothpaste tops out of the drain. There are no plugs in any of the basins, so a silicone one-size plug is a handy thing to take. The electric system is operated with a keyfob in a slot. The slots we had were all damaged, ours was repaired with two screws and our friends had theirs fixed with insulation tape. In apartments I have been to before, the fridge is on separate wiring, so it stays on, not so here, ALL the electricity goes off when you leave the room, meaning that it's not a good place to keep food. A kettle is available on request, but there is no toaster, just a hotplate with two rings. It would be impossible to self-cater here. There is a safe in every room and the standard of cleaning is very good. The worst incident for us came on leaving day. We had a late night flight, but had to leave the rooms by 11.00. Michael said we could keep the rooms until 7:00 pm if we wanted to, which seemed great, until he came to the price! He asked for 150 euros for the three rooms for the day. That was too much for us, so we said we would make do with one room, so he said it would be 100 Euros for one room. We had made friends with many of the kind, welcoming people in Analipsi and, through them, found out that the going rate for a day-room is 30 Euros. Naturally we told Michael he could keep his room and we were allowed to leave our bags at the a nearby restaurant, which we had been using for breakfast, all day, for no charge.Given that the Kazapakis is not particularly cheap and that there are many better apartments for a similar price in Analipsi, I would advise giving them a miss, or being prepared for what you will find there. Go to Analipsi, it's wonderful, just give Micahel a wide berth.
