    Comfortable place, great service, good food, near highway

    We enjoyed our stay here. Easy access from highway, but a very difficult drive to nearby Archanes, which has lovely restaurants. Katalagari is a country village.Some guests may complain about highway noise, but we found it to be really “white noise” and very quiet at night.Rooms overlook lovely pool and patio. The view of the olive orchards and mountains in distance is gorgeous.Good spot for a night or two, especially if you are heading to southern Crete.Service is fabulous as is breakfast

    The Katalagari country suites are located in an ideal spot for vacations overlooking the plain with olive trees and vines planted in harmony like Tuscany. The building structure of the hotel is a surprise. In the form of an Italian small palace with the color of the building the same as many Italian buildings. A green environment with a perfectly homely garden and the hotel's operation is automatic. Special mention to the staff for their impeccable behavior confirming the Cretan hospitality. Breakfast with high quality ingredients and a list of flavors for the whole day next to the pool. In this small village there is a hotel of European standards for family holidays with children.

    An absolute gem of a hotel! The staff are so friendly, breakfast is English/continental buffet including some Cretian offerings. The rooms are clean and traditional, the pool is so welcoming! It is a quiet hotel not far from the main coast road, perfect location (yes there is a road just in front but it is hardly used so doesn’t really affect our stay).

    A true gem. This small hotel has everything. Lovely rooms,well kept gardens and a nice pool. A very good breakfast included in the price. 3 nice restaurants within walking distance. Most of all the staff is outstanding. Small things make you feel so welcome. Some people mention the road. It is there but did not bother me at all

    Lovely hotel but be aware of the highway directly in front

    The property itself is very nice. Grounds and gardens are beautifully maintained as is the pool area. We were the only guests one night yet they were happily waiting to prepare breakfast for us in the morning. Room was very spacious but starting to be dated. The downside, however, is the pretty substantial new highway that is directly in the front of the hotel. The noise is pretty constant and really can’tbe avoided.
